The Marvel actor Jonathan Majors’ shocking audiotape surfaces, where he admits strangling his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The news has taken over the internet, as the heated conversation between the two suggests that Majors reportedly strangled her and slammed her into a car. The audiotape is from September 2022, when Majors was filming Loki and was living with Jabbari in London.

Jabbari filed a civil lawsuit last April, and the audiotape that has been resurrected serves as evidence of a long-standing fight that took place in 2022 between the then-couple. The lawsuit has now been settled, but the newly unearthed audio of the two fighting has returned to the news. This was not the first lawsuit the Loki star has had under his name. In late 2023, a different lawsuit, reportedly charging Majors of physical assault, was lodged.

After a controversial audiotape was made public, Jonathon Majors and his ex-girlfriend Jabbari’s 2022 fight grabbed eyeballs. In March 2023, Majors reportedly got arrested for assaulting his ex-friend, which was followed by another assault case. In the resurfaced audiotape (via Rollingstone), Majors pointed fingers at Jabbari for instigating him, citing that he has never raised a hand on a woman.
Jonathan Majors said:
I’m ashamed I’ve ever— I’ve never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I’ve never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you.
The audiotape has Jabbari’s recording where she said:
You strangled me and pushed me against the car.
The audiotape carries a conversation between the two, where Majors constantly denies being physical with a woman. Jabbari admits passing a sarcastic comment to Majors but ends the conversation by denoting that it was “something inside” of him that provoked him to allegedly harm her. The attorneys of the party have chosen to remain silent on this.
What led to the fight between Jonathan Majors and his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari?

The civil lawsuit filed by Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, has been settled. But it took an ugly turn when the Marvel star got aggressive about Jabbari going to the pub with a few friends, as reported in the court trials. (via Rolling Stone). The fight stretched over days, leading to the incident where Major lost his temper and assaulted Jabbari.
During the trial, Major admitted to his short temper and cited that he had certain expectations from Jabbari, which she did not fulfill. According to the evidence presented in the trial, after a heated argument, Jabbari decided to leave the house, and it was then that Majors reportedly grabbed Grace and “threw her against the hood of her car.”
Majors brought her inside the house, trying to stop her voice from going outside, and then aggressively strangled her till she could not count her breath, as stated in the court trial.
Talking to The Hollywood Times, in an interview in March 2024, Majors opened up about his trial and the 52 weeks of domestic violence intervention program that he went through. It was a bleak period for the Magazine Dreams star as he lost many friends, his manager, Entertainment 360, and his publicity firm. He said during the interview,
It’s a heartbreak like I’ve never experienced and it just compounded and compounded.
However, during the interview, Majors avoided commenting on the accusations made by Jabbari and other incidents reported by his other two ex-friends between 2013 and 2019. (via. Rollingstone)
