WYNNE Evans’ BBC travelled series has been pulled off air tonight amid his Strictly tour axe.
The Go Compare star, 53, was dropped from the dancing show’s live tour after an ‘inappropriate’ comment of his towards Janette Manrara was picked up by cameras.

Despite taking a break from his BBC Radio Wales programme, Wynne’s travel show with Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page has remained on air.
However, in a schedule shakeup, it’s been axed from screens tonight – Monday – and replaced by an EastEnders special.
The soap is celebrating its 40th anniversary this week and Beeb bosses have added a number of extra shows to celebrate the milestone.
Wynne & Joanna: All At Sea usually airs Mondays at 8.30pm but this week, it has moved to Wednesday at the same time.
In its place is EastEnders: 40 Years on the Square, which sees Ross Kemp – who recently returned to the soap as Grant Mitchell – meet cast members past and present.
He also explores the groundbreaking issues that defined the British soap.
The show will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and contributions from Michelle Collins, Adam Woodyatt, Gillian Taylforth, Letitia Dean, Jessie Wallace, Anita Dobson and Pam St Clement.
The schedule change comes days after Wynne snubbed a co-star after his axing from the Strictly tour.
The 53-year-old opera singer has stepped back from the limelight after being dropped from the arena run for using the term “spit-roast” towards Janette Manrara and Jamie Borthwick during a media photocall.
Wynne has since stopped following EastEnders star Jamie, who he was previously friends with, on Instagram.
Actor Jamie – who plays Jay Brown in EastEnders – does still follow Wynne.
A representative for Wynne told The Sun: “When Wynne left the tour he unfollowed people who were posting about it purely to protect his mental health. Jamie was one of those people. There was nothing more to it than that.”
It comes after we revealed the tenor feels he has been “knifed” by the BBC over his Strictly sacking and will not go down without a fight.
The Go Compare star is set to take the corporation to a tribunal as he believes his reputation has been unfairly left “in tatters”.
