A WOMAN has died after falling from a block of flats with tributes being paid following her tragic death.
The horror incident took place at West Street in Bridgwater, Somerset on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 3.40pm following reports of a woman falling from a height.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “Sadly, a woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Her next of kin has been informed and our thoughts and sympathies are with them at this time.
“The death is not believed to be suspicious, and officers will complete a file for the coroner.”
Tributes have poured in on social media for the woman.
One said: “Very sad day yesterday.
“My sympathy to her family and friends. RIP.”
Another added: “So very sad to hear about this dear lady, my thoughts are with her family, friends and all who knew her.”
A third said: “Tragic news, so very sad.”
