Bungie has continued to evolve Destiny 2 and expand it with the help of crossovers with other companies and properties. The first crossover in the game started off with Guardians appearing in Fortnite and various armor sets brought to the MMO.

Since then, we’ve seen Assassin’s Creed, Fall Guys, God of War, and various other franchises coming to Destiny 2. It’s still unknown which property Bungie is planning to partner up with next, but it would be a grave mistake if the developer doesn’t consider WWE.
Why we need a Destiny 2 x WWE crossover

It’s been decades since WWE first started premiering, but it still stands as the most popular wrestling spectacle in the world. With legendary superstars and an unmatched legacy, WWE continues to entertain millions. There’s even a gaming arm of the wrestling series.
Considering the popularity of the series, one might wonder why Destiny 2 hasn’t collaborated with it. Seriously, it’s going to be a blend of the most recognizable sci-fi game and wrestling action. Who wouldn’t like Guardians walking around as Rey Mysterio or John Cena?
WWE has even collaborated with Call of Duty, and that proved to be quite a success for the FPS franchise. While Bungie still hasn’t revealed any plans for such a collaboration, many in the community believe that it could be on the cards in the future.

What fuels the community’s speculation regarding a potential Destiny 2 x WWE collaboration is that a commentator from TNA was seen sporting a Guardians Games pin. Currently, there’s an ongoing Guardians Games event in Destiny 2.
Adding more fuel to this speculation is that Bungie’s Community strategist, Dylan Gafner, has retweeted the post. There’s a chance that he could be hinting at a potential crossover in the future. We can’t say for sure, but all signs point towards this incredible partnership.
Bungie releases a brand-new Destiny 2 update

After months of anticipation, Episode Hersey has finally arrived in Destiny 2, giving gamers the next part of the ongoing event, alongside new gear and missions. Bungie also gave us the 2025 Guardian Games event, putting three classes against each other to see who gets the most medallions.
However, that’s not all; there’s a brand-new major update for Destiny 2. The biggest change in this update is with a rifle called Redrix Estoc, along with all lightweight pulse rifles that have been nerfed.
Bungie has also squashed a number of bugs within this update as well. The Khepri’s Horn, Titan’s No Backup Plans, and Hazardus Propulsion have all been fixed. The Nightstalker aspect called On The Prowl has been tuned down slightly.
It’s great to see that Bungie is committed to elevating the experience in Bungie. Let’s hope it can also listen to the community and finally bring some much-awaited collaborations.
