AD Smith appeared on S6 of Love Is Blind, while Ollie Sutherland debuted on S1 of the U.K. version, but they didn’t meet until Perfect Match S3, proving that love truly is blind.

Wedding time! Love Is Blind is finally living up to its name.
The Season 8 reunion on Sunday, March 9, was full of surprises and happy moments. The one that took the cake was that Season 6 star Amber Desiree “AD” Smith and Ollie Sutherland, who appeared on season 1 of Love Is Blind: UK, are engaged.
The couple first met while filming season 3 of Perfect Match, which is set to premiere in summer 2025. Having met while filming Season 3 of Perfect Match, rumors of a romance were fueled after they were spotted at an intimate dinner together in Mexico. However, the pair kept their relationship under wraps until the big reveal on March 9th.
The big reveal

After coming out on the reunion stage, they introduced a promo for the upcoming season of the Netflix hit before the video of Ollie proposing to AD was screened for everyone.
Ollie recently popped the question to AD in a romantic, flower-strewn proposal on the beach.
“You’re my best friend,” Ollie told AD during the proposal, in a clip shared during the Love is Blind season eight reunion. “You’re the love of my life. I’ve never felt as happy or as complete as I have since I met you. And nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life loving you.”
And when he finally asked, “Amber Desiree Smith, will you marry me?” She could only happily nod as she covered her face in shock.

AD mentioned her surprise at the proposal, which Ollie admitted he had been planning for quite some time. The couple credited their time on Love Is Blind for helping them build a strong foundation in their relationship. They clicked due to “shared values and similar outlooks on life.”
Viewers saw AD venture into the Netflix pods when Season 6 dropped last year. She got engaged to Clay Gravesande, but he turned her down at the altar on their wedding day.
Meanwhile, Ollie sparked a romance with Demi Brown on the UK version of the reality dating series. The pair got engaged but ultimately didn’t tie the knot. However, in a story written by Fate himself, they found each other.
As the pair prepare to walk down the aisle, we wish them a very happy married life ahead.
Perfect Match, which debuted in 2023, brings together fan favorites from various Netflix reality shows who pair up and compete in challenges to form relationships. Past contestants include Love Is Blind’s Damian Powers, Too Hot to Handle’s Francesca Farago, The Circle’s Joey Sasso, and The Ultimatum‘s Jake Cunningham.
Seasons 1 through 8 of Love Is Blind are available to stream on Netflix. Perfect Match season 3 is expected to air this summer.
