A TV anchor took a tumble live on air after rushing back on to the news set.
The hilarious moment was shared to TikTok by Melvin Robert’s co-host Jennifer Lahmers after his live TV gaffe.

The short video from Good Day LA begins with a close-up of Lahmers who is reacting to something happening behind her and first she looks shocked, before she begins to laugh.
She screams “woo” before she has to turn around and stands up from her chair as she reacts to the fall.
Entertainment anchor Amanda Salas can be heard saying “hang on,” as the camera pans wide and shows her trying to help Melvin up from the ground.
“I’m fine,” Melvin can be heard shouting from the floor.
He eventually gets to his feet and tells the audience he had to rush off set in the break to take a quick phone call, but struggles as his microphone becomes unlodged.
“While I was coming back, I missed the chair,” he said holding the lapel mic in his hands.
Jennifer told him: “Very graceful though.”
She shared the moment to TikTok with the caption: “Melvin fell out of his chair and then so did we,” tagging Amanda in the post.
Some of her fans reacted to the moment in the comments section of the post.
“Damn you’re adorable,” wrote one person.
Another added: “I seen it live.”
Robert was long-serving anchor on the Fox breakfast show but recently made the move to KTLA where he joined the Morning News beginning this week.
“It’s really exciting day to be back here,” Robert told Variety.
“I’m a Southern California native, I grew up in Inglewood. I always dreamed of being on the ‘KTLA Morning News.’ It’s the most iconic show in LA. It is the morning show in LA.”
