TWO lanes were closed on Dublin’s busy M50 motorway this morning after a car crash, causing delays for commuters.
The collision took place in the right lane on the M50 northbound after Junction 4, Ballymun at around 7am.

Members of the Dublin Fire Brigade and paramedics attended the scene.
Dublin Fire Brigade said: “We are attending a road traffic collision on the M50 between Junction 4 and 3 Northbound.
“Lane two and three are currently closed. Slow down on approach, expect delays.“
It is understood that the incident has been cleared and all lanes are reopened after crash caused major delays for commuters.
Meanwhile, Irish Rail commuters are also facing major delays this morning.
Southbound dart services in Dalkey and Bray have been suspended in both directions until further notice.
It is understood that Irish Rail suspended the services due to vandalism damaging the overhead lines and pantograph.
A spokesperson was not been able to confirm when services will be back up and running again but stressed that staff are working to rectify the situation.
During the delays, southbound services will terminate in Dalkey and operate back Northbound.
Knock-on delays can be expected due to congestion.
