MORE acts have been announced for this year’s TRNSMT festival with 18 huge dance acts set to take to the newest stage in Glasgow Green.
Festival bosses revealed the new additions to its dance stage line-up today as music lovers prepare for the three-day extravaganza this summer.

Thousands of revellers are expected to flock to Glasgow for the event, which will take place from July 11 to July 13.
We previously told how Biffy Clyro, Snow Patrol and 50 Cent will headline the exciting festival in July.
Nathan Evans & The Saint Phnx Band will also return with their unique folk-pop after his previous appearance in 2021.
And indie-pop duo Good Neighbours will perform their viral smash hit Home, while YouTuber and Podcaster Arthur Hill will bring his unique mix of comedy music.
Glasgow’s own Lucia & the Best Boys are also set to return to the stage alongside chart-topping Tom Walker with his hits like Leave a Light On.
The View‘s Kyle Falconer appears after the release of his third solo album.
But now bosses have revealed that BBC Radio 1 Dance is taking over the much-loved Boogie Bar to bring some of the best dance music to Glasgow Green.
And some of the DJs from across the BBC such as Jaguar, Arielle Free and Charlie Hedges will be performing alongside homegrown talent Hayley Zalassi, La La and Irish DJ singer-songwriter, JAZZY.
A total of 18 acts will take to the Radio 1 Dance Stage, with Dance music icon Jaguar headlining on the opening day with one of her garage-infused dance sets.
La La and Connor Coates will also perform on Friday and bring their infectious energy to Glasgow Green.
Big Miz, MARIANNE and Frankie Elyse are all growing names in Scotland’s house and techno scene and will be treating fans to big tunes and big vibes.
Nimino will be bringing his house, garage and hip-hop sounds to the Radio 1 Dance stage on the Saturday after his success last year with his debut single.
Hayley Zalassi and Scotland’s very own Arielle Free will also join Saturday’s line-up.
And female powerhouses in techno and dance with Hannah Opgaard, Dominique and EVA will also perform on the second day of the festival.
Irish dance-pop singer-songwriter JAZZY will headline TRNSMT’s newest stage on the final day of the festival.
Also performing on Sunday will be BETH and host of Radio 1’s Dance Anthems, Charlie Hedges, as well as Radio 1’s Future Dance presenter Sarah Story.
Glasgow favourite Kane Kirkpatrick will also be making their TRNSMT debut before US techno DJ BEAUX kicks off the final leg of the festival.
Geoff Ellis, Festival Director of TRNSMT said: “This year’s lineup just got even bigger with the addition of 18 trailblazers, set to showcase some of the electronic music scene on the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage.

Other acts for TRNSMT 2025’s main stages include Irish pop-rock band The Script who will play the Friday, The Kooks on Saturday and pop starlet Gracie Abrams on Sunday.
Wet Leg, Twin Atlantic, Jake Bugg and Kneecap are also billed to perform.
A standard three-day festival ticket costs £249.50, while a three-day VIP ticket is £390 and a three-day VIP+ ticket is £625.
