Being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame is probably the highest honor any wrestler can achieve for their contribution. Well, Triple H’s 3-decade-long efforts for the company have been recognized, as he was officially the first member of the class of 2025. The Cerebral Assassin had a once-in-a-lifetime run in WWE, where he was one of the prominent figures of the Attitude Era, creating iconic factions like the D-Generation X and the Evolution.

The King of Kings stands on top of all as a 14-time WWE Champion, winning almost every other championship in the company and winning several Elimination Chamber and Royal Rumble matches as well. However, he is not done yet, as he takes World Wrestling Entertainment to a whole other level of fame by taking over the company as the Chief Content Officer.
Surprisingly, this highest act of honor is unachievable by the ex-boss of WWE, Vince McMahon, whose reputation has been tarnished because of one criminal lawsuit. Forcing him to walk far away from all the fame and glory that put in his blood and sweat over these years.
Why will Vince McMahon never get inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame?
Vince McMahon is one of the most popular wrestling promoters, who has taken some of the boldest decisions that have not only elevated the status of his most prized possession, WWE, but also made him the man who can turn dust into gold. From buying the company from his father to creating the first-ever WrestleMania, he has truly revolutionized the entertainment landscape, constantly doing “what’s best for business.”

The co-founder of the modern WWE, who was also the executive chairman of TKO, the parent company of the professional wrestling promotion, had to withdraw from his position. He folded from the company after his misconduct behind the high-octane action of the company was made public, where a former WWE employee accused him of s*xual assault and trafficking.
The news became public in 2022, making him step down as the chairman and CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, even bringing forth a big name from the locker room and getting their name associated with the lawsuit. In February 2025, it was reported via CNN that Mr. McMahon’s lawyers claimed that the federal prosecutors were dropping the criminal charges, giving him a breather.

However, in the latest course of action via Wrestling Inc., it has been reported that Janel Grant’s team filed an amended complaint about the alleged trafficking and assault on Janel Grant. This compelled the company to break all ties with the Genetic Jackhammer.
Though only time will tell if Mr. McMahon is guilty or innocent, it makes it impossible for him to get inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame. After all, a dark blot would forever be there, preventing executives from bestowing him the highest honor that one can have in the global wrestling powerhouse.
The WWE Universe is pumped to see Triple H become a 2-time Hall of Famer
While it is uncertain to witness Mr. McMahon as a Hall of Famer, the WWE Universe is surely pumped to see Paul “Triple H” Levesque getting inducted into the Hall of Fame, an honor which he had celebrated previously as part of D-Generation X. Now, in 2025, he is celebrating that tribute as an individual member.

To celebrate his iconic moments and definitive career, a HOF induction video was released on X, which blasted the fans away. They called it “absolutely hard,” a “well-deserved” and a “sweet” tribute to the in-ring veteran.

While HHH has played a phenomenal role in the company, there have been times when the fans missed the presence of Mr. McMahon, as they felt how modernity has somewhat affected the traditions of the sport, dividing different generations of wrestling enthusiasts.
WrestleMania 41 will be a two-night event taking place on Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20, 2025.
