John Cena recently turned heel, betrayed Cody Rhodes, and labeled his fans as the reason behind him turning evil. This created a lot of hype around the upcoming WrestleMania event and everyone had something to say about the heel turn.
Recently a WWE legend shocked the entire combat sports community as he claimed that the heel turn fitted Cena perfectly because he is a ‘heel in real life.’
WWE legend reveals why the heel turn suited John Cena perfectly

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long explained on Sportskeeda Wrestlebinge’s The Wrestling Time Machine with Mac Davis, why he thinks that John Cena turning into a villain is a perfect fit.
“Oh, it was no big deal to me. John Cena’s now being John Cena. The best heel in the world is the guy that’s a heel in real life. And that’s, you know, nothing against him. I like him, he’s a great guy. But he is a heel in real life, and this fits him perfectly. You watch and see how good his promos are now than they were when he was cutting them babyface promos. You watch this,” Teddy Long said.
Long claimed that to become a great heel one must be a heel in real life too. According to Long John Cena is a perfect example, he looks so good as a villain because he is one himself in real life.

When Bill Apter asked him the reason behind such a claim, Teddy Long’s reply was short and precise.
“All I’ve said is this. That’s perfectly him, and that’s all I’m going to say.“
Many WWE fans are concluding that Teddy Long indirectly wanted to call Cena a villain. This baffled many as he refused to share any incident regarding the reason behind such a claim.
Did John Cena cross the line while delivering a hate speech to his fans
John Cena perplexed everyone in the latest episode of RAW as he came on the stage and started channeling all his anger and hatred towards his fans. Cena claimed he has never been loved by his fans for who he is.
According to the leader of the Cenation he always had to perform and prove himself in front of his fans to gain their temporary love and respect.

Cena explained that his fans treated him like a toy, used him for entertainment, and tossed him into the trash when they were done with him. He labeled his relationship with his fans, a toxic one and wanted to put an end to this 25-year-long relationship.
Even though John had to follow a storyline and script, blaming his own fans and throwing vile words at them seemed a bit too over the line.
