Diamond Dallas Page’s career has always been larger than life. From rolling into WrestleMania VI in a pink Cadillac to winning the WCW Television Championship in 1995, DDP knew how to make an entrance, and an impact.

Thus, when he entered a ring full of vicious sharks to pitch a business idea on Shark Tank, plenty of jaws were dropped! Here is what happened on that episode of Shark Tank!
DDP warned Mark Cuban and Kevin O’Leary they’d be swimming in regret!
Diamond Dallas Page walked into the Shark Tank with more than just a business pitch, as he had a powerful story to tell. After a serious back injury threatened to end his wrestling career, DDP turned to yoga as a last resort.
He wasn’t exactly excited about it at first, but to his surprise, it worked wonders. Inspired by his own recovery, he created DDP Yoga, a program that combined yoga with strength and resistance training.
Thus, with his business partner Steve Yu, he decided to dive down head first. And only in the two years the company has been running before their Shark Tank appearance, they already made an impressive $2.6 million in their first year, mostly from selling books and DVDs.
Now, they were asking for $200,000 in exchange for 5% of their company to help launch their first mobile app.

To show just how life-changing the program could be, they brought out Arthur Boorman, a disabled veteran who had completely turned his life around with DDP Yoga in less than a year. The transformation was incredible, and the sharks were clearly impressed.
But despite the powerful pitch, none of the sharks actually wanted to take a bite out of it. Mark Cuban agreed they needed to go digital but thought it would take more money than he was willing to invest.
Daymond John wasn’t keen on another fitness product, Barbara Corcoran didn’t like investing in trends, Robert Herjavec wasn’t sold on the business plan, and Kevin O’Leary wasn’t happy with the equity offer.
With no deal on the table, DDP confidently told Cuban and O’Leary they’d regret passing up the opportunity. Judging by DDP Yoga’s success in the last few years, he may have been spot on!
Diamond Dallas Page’s DDP Yoga is stronger than ever!
Although Diamond Dallas Page walked away from Shark Tank with no deal. He did not quite walk away empty-handed. Despite the sharks turning him down, DDP Yoga exploded in popularity. In the week after his episode aired, sales skyrocketed to $6 million, and by August 2021, the brand had raked in over $10 million since its launch.
And DDP Yoga’s evolution is proof that Page knew exactly what he was doing. What started as a DVD-based program is now a full-fledged mobile app packed with over 300 workouts, progress-tracking tools, meal prep tips, and motivational content from DDP himself.

On top of that, DDP Yoga kept things fresh and expanded its product line with PowerCuffs, blood flow restriction bands that boost muscle growth. DDP boldly claimed his yoga program would become a household name and the Skarks would regret, and with results like these, it can easily be said that he wasn’t wrong!
