Dembo’s music, including timeless hits like “Chitekete,” “Shamwari Yangu Warova,” “Venenziya,” and “Ruva Rashe,” remains popular across Zimbabwe and beyond, yet his family has not benefited financially from his legacy.
In response, Chivayo stepped in to support the Dembo family, announcing a life-changing donation:

- US$50,000 in cash to help Mrs. Dembo start a business of her choice for long-term financial stability.

He further stressed the importance of preserving legacies, stating that no young Zimbabwean should be left behind, especially those connected to the country’s heroes and cultural icons.
