Celebrities are telling Us about the outfits that have made them happy, from elegant gowns to cozy casuals.

For Frankie Grande, fashion has the power to transport him to another time and place. Take for instance the ensemble he wore to the 40th Annual Artios Awards in February. “This outfit is making me really happy right now. I feel like it’s summer, even though it’s winter, because of this outfit,” the actor and singer says. “I’m naked for all of you at Us Weekly! I wish it was summer — showing off my body and just feeling the joy of being in the sun. This is a fake tan, but I’m pretending it’s real. I’m pretending I’m on a beach, and it makes me happy.”

“This is a good and a bad one,” 1923 star Jennifer Carpenter says. “I went to the Venice Film Festival [in 2017], and my friend said, ‘I think you’re supposed to get your picture taken.’ We had just gotten off a flight and were dizzy from jet lag. I did what she said, which was stupid because I was wearing jeans, terrible boots and a white T-shirt. When I look back at that picture, I’m proud of it because it was the most authentic thing I could have shown.”

The custom Chiefs jacket that Kristin Juszczyk created for Taylor Swift made her a viral sensation. And coincidentally, it’s that same piece of clothing she credits with bringing her the most joy. “When I made that puffer vest, I remember feeling like it was something that could change the game.”

It did! The wife of former San Francisco 49ers player Kyle Juszczyk recently teamed up with Skims cofounder Emma Grede to launch
Off Season, a line of sports apparel.

Jenna Dewan likes to experiment when it comes to her style. “[This Monique Lhuillier dress] was a cool shape that I haven’t worn before,” the Rookie actress tells Us. “I was like ‘yes!’ to the triple corset, and the structure of it.”

“Being able to wear the skinny jean that we just launched with Frame called the Alix Jean has been super cool,” social media personality Alix Earle says. “It has my name on the tag, which just feels surreal. Those moments have been fun to share.”

For Peter Facinelli, comfort is king! “I have a hoodie, and if you go to my Instagram, you’ll see it a lot,” he says. “It’s so comfortable. I was out, I had a beard, glasses and a hat on. Someone came up and said, ‘Can I take a picture with you?’ I said, ‘How’d you recognize me?’ And they go, ‘You have the same hoodie on in every picture!’”

Shania Twain gets nostalgic when asked what outfit makes her happy. “I [wore] the ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ original costume from the video in the show,” the singer, who recently wrapped up her Las Vegas residency, tells Us. But don’t expect the Grammy winner to rock the look during her upcoming tour. “I’ve gotta preserve her and make sure that she stays intact for as long as possible, so 30 years from now, I hope I can wear it again.”

“I’ve been in this ‘buy less, don’t impulse buy’ phase,” Jonathan Van Ness tells Us. “My impulse spending was not great. Kind of similar with food — and honey that Zepbound, I think it’s made me less impulsive with food and spending!” But there was one particular item that the Queer Eye star could not resist — Loewe floral print sneakers! “My stylist and I were doing a pull for tour, and normally I would be like, ‘Oh, I got to have this and this and this and this,’ but I was like, ‘The only thing I need are those shoes!’ It was in September, and I’ve worn them almost every day since.”

“The first time I won an Emmy [in 2000], I had this incredible Dolce & Gabbana dress,” Patricia Heaton tells Us. “It was black and kind of fitted, with beautiful embroidery and sequins. That was a good memory. I just felt beautiful,” the Everybody Loves Raymond actress adds. “That night was just a really special night. Dolce & Gabbana are designers who really love women and appreciate women’s bodies, so you always feel beautiful in Dolce.”
