PAUL SCHOLES reckons Ruben Amorim has dropped a major transfer clue about a potential summer signing.
The Manchester United boss is desperate for new faces after a dismal start to his Old Trafford reign.

Amorim has been forced to field players signed by several of his predecessors.
And although the likes of Marcus Rashford and Antony have been shipped out, there’s plenty more deadwood at United to clear through this summer.
Amorim has so far made just one senior signing in Patrick Dorgu.
While January youth signing Ayden Heaven has quietly made his way into the team recently.
But Amorim could now make a move for a new midfielder after heaping praise on one superstar this week.
United got past LaLiga side Real Sociedad in the Europa League on Thursday.
A 4-1 in the second leg of their last-16 tie saw the Red Devils progress to the quarters.
But one Sociedad star stood out more than the rest.

Spanish midfield ace Martin Zubimendi has been a key player for club and country in recent years.
He snubbed a big-money move to Liverpool last summer.

But former United playmaker Scholes reckons Zubimendi could be on his way to the Theatre of Dreams after being praised by Amorim.
United’s boss said: “Zubimendi is a top player that can change a team, especially in that position.
“He’s one position that can read and block transitions. He’s also the first guy in the build-up.
“I know the player really well. Everyone knows he’s a top player that can change the team.”
Scholes reflected on Amorim’s comments but warned that he faced a major hurdle in his pursuit.
Scholes said: “From that interview, the manager quite likes Zubimendi. If we sell three or four players, we might be able to buy him.”
As well as having to sell several players before making a move, United will also need to stump up £51million to meet Zubimendi’s release clause.
A further stumbling block is that Premier League rivals Arsenal are extremely interested in a move.
They are losing Jorginho and Thomas Partey on free transfers this summer.
And talks have already begun with Sociedad over a long-term deal for their star man.
