WAG life isn’t for everyone, says Diana Wong, wife of Cleveland Browns punter Corey Bojorquez.
In a video shared via TikTok on March 11, Wong broke down the highs and lows of WAG (wife and girlfriend) life in the NFL.
“Most girlies want to be WAGs until you realize you’re alone every single weekend with the kids for 4.5 months straight,” she wrote over a photo of herself and Bojorquez, 28.“And football quite literally consumes their physical and mental capacity in its entirety during that time.”
The duo, who got married in 2021, share two children together: daughters Elliana Jireh and Stevie Parker-Ruth.

“You never know what state or city you’ll be moving to next or and you almost never have family where you end up moving to so you never have a ‘village.’ Oh let’s not forget we spend holidays alone too because they have a game,” she added.
Bojorquez signed with the Browns one year after the pair said “I do.” His career has also included stints playing for the New England Patriots, the Buffalo Bills, the Los Angeles Rams and the Green Bay Packers.
While Wong has had to move multiple times as a result of her husband’s career, she also made it clear that life as an athlete’s wife isn’t all tough times. Her TikTok is also filled with videos that show cute moments with the pair’s children and major milestones that they’ve all celebrated together as Bojorquez’s career has grown.
Wong isn’t the only football wife who has opened up about the realities of life on and off the field, either. Retired athlete Chad Hansen’s wife Bryce Watts Hansen has used her own TikTok account as a way to shed light on their life together over the years.
In December 2024, she shut down the idea that “all NFL players are millionaires” and revealed the pair live in a 700-square-foot apartment with the same couch they’ve had since her husband signed his rookie contract in 2017.
“He was on eight different NFL teams, which means eight different contracts are being signed and broken,” she explained. “When you’re on a team, it is good money — no matter [if you’re on a] practice squad or active roster, it is all good money.”

“But since contracts aren’t guaranteed … [once you are cut] you get nothing, especially if you sign at the beginning of the offseason and then you’re cut during the offseason,” Bryce also said. “You’re not seeing any of that money because you haven’t played again and again, you haven’t gone to practice.”
“The costs really do start adding up, so you have to [decide], ‘We’re not gonna buy new furniture, we’d rather spend it on something for his body or a recovery tool,’” Bryce added. “It ended up helping us and helping him.”
