Hidetaka Miyazaki has been an influential director for the most part in his video game development journey, and there seems to be no stopping soon as Naughty Dog, the studio behind massive franchises such as The Last of Us and Uncharted, possibly takes inspiration from Elden Ring in this one part.

Possibly the best decision made by Mr. Miyazaki during the production of Elden Ring was letting George R.R. Martin take over the writing of the game’s background and base storyline. What happened next remains history, and the makers of Uncharted possibly want to create a similar experience in their upcoming release of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet to take inspiration from Elden Ring

Controversy ganged in on Intergalactic like a pack of dogs when it was announced for the first time. However, as gamers slowly ease up with the present reality, most of them have been realizing how a new experience by Naughty Dog Studios can open up a door for endless potential.
It is already nearly impossible to create a storyline as good as Naughty Dog did for Uncharted and The Last of Us. And with Ben Hanson, from MinnMax, saying the following about how their upcoming projects take it a step further by becoming like Elden Ring, who knows what masterpiece they might be cooking up.
-I would have said ‘Naughty Dog’s next game is like Elden Ring’ and then that reveal trailer came out, I feel like we would have been lit on fire. But now that idea of, okay, it’s taking place on one planet, kind of uncovering the history of this world, you can kind of see a little more where they might be going with that.
The Minnmax Show has been giving insights into the gaming industry for a while now, and their latest episode, as also noted by Wccftech, reveals how Intergalactic’s story is slowly building up to be like that of Elden Ring’s. The likeliness can possibly reside in how the protagonist will get a lot to uncover in a vast map with secrets hidden in every nook and corner, just like in The Lands Between of Hidetaka Miyazaki’s masterpiece.
What happens when Naughty Dog takes their perfected story-telling experience a step further?

As we have seen in their previous work, the studio is known for crafting some of the most intriguing storylines the gaming world has ever seen. While they remain linear and hyper-focused on one thing, the upcoming game is possibly going to change that for the better.
Neil Druckmann, co-president of the studio and director for The Last of Us series, in another interview (as noted by Wccftech) recently also revealed how players in Intergalactic are going to be ‘lonely’, rather than being accompanied by allies as seen in previous franchises, adding yet another similarity to FromSoftware’s Elden Ring.
Unfortunately, as per Naughty Dog tradition, hated by millions of gamers, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is going to be a PlayStation Exclusive, leaving Xbox users in the dark yet once again.
