My hair was fried & thin until I started one easy task before every hair wash, three months on it’s so thick & luscious

People say it takes years to repair hair damage and grow your locks.

But one beauty fan has revealed how she did just that in three months with a simple task.

now her hair is so much thicker and healthier in just three months[/caption]

Rebecca, from the UK, took to social media to share how she did it.

“It will take years to grow your hair back,” she wrote showing how her hair looked before starting her haircare routine.

“Three months later,” she wrote when she showed the transformation.

Her hair was bleached blonde leading to damage and thinning, but she decided to dye it dark and dedicate herself to getting it back in a healthy condition.

She revealed the exact products and steps she used and claimed one in particular worked wonders.

Now her hair has grown in length and thickness and looks glossy.

“The thing that’s made the biggest difference is hair oiling! It’s crazy,” she said in the comments.

“I’ve been applying oils all over before EVERY wash and reallyyy massaging it into my scalp too.”

She announced she used oils from Hair Syrup and was obsessed with them, especially the rosemary one.

Before applying anything to her hair, she used a scalp massager on dry hair to remove any dead skin and stimulate blood circulation, and then applied the oil to her scalp.

She also used their watermelon milk on the ends of her hair to hydrate them and left the oils on for an hour before hopping into the shower.

Rebecca then used the ginger shampoo from The Body Shop to cleanse her scalp before going in with a hair mask and a hair gloss for sleek locks.

Before drying her hair, she uses a heat protectant to keep it in good condition and prevent damage.

The clip went viral on her TikTok account @rebmckillop with over 158k views and 8,700 likes.

How often should you be washing your hair?

Anabel Kingsley, Consultant Trichologist and Brand President at Philip Kingsley spoke exclusively to Fabulous.

You take your hair and scalp to the same places you take your face, and it gets just as dirty.

Your scalp is also a living tissue; it sweats, produces oils and sheds skin cells.

You wouldn’t leave two days between washing your face, and you likely wouldn’t wear the same outfit more than a few times before washing it – apply the same thinking to your hair.

It is a myth that washing your hair too often causes your hair to get greasier.

People were quick to take to the comments and thank Rebecca for her tips.

One person wrote: “Wow amazing.”

Another commented: “Thanks for showing products that won’t make me go bankrupt.”

“The body shop ginger shampoo is literally the best shampoo in the world,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “Love these tips!”

“This is great, thank you,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Do you hair oil every time? I just do it once a week, but this growth is amazing!”
