Rachel Accurso, better known as the pink headband–wearing Ms. Rachel, has shared a little insight into why she’s been absent from YouTube as of late.
In the comments section of an Instagram post about her husband, Aron Accurso, shared on Wednesday, March 19, Ms. Rachel, 42, responded to a fan who questioned her whereabouts.
The follower wrote, “When are we getting more episodes? I feel like since you’ve signed with Netflix we don’t really get good content anymore …”
Ms. Rachel responded, “I’m sorry. We’ve had some family things to attend to. Nothing to do with Netflix, as that is content from YouTube.” She added to another fan, “I will make a little video tomorrow to help .”
Celebrity Parents Who Have Written Children’s Books Over the Years
The children’s educator has not shared a new video on her “Songs for Littles” YouTube channel in two months. Her last video, titled “Hide and Seek with Ms Rachel & Elmo + More Games, Kids Songs, Nursery Rhymes & Social Skills,” amassed 40 million views.
Us Weekly has reached out to Ms. Rachel for further comment.
Ms. Rachel, a popular YouTuber among parents and young children, recently signed a deal with Netflix — which dropped four 30 to 60-minute educational episodes in January. Primarily, her lessons have been featured on “Songs for Littles,” which she debuted in 2019. The channel — which currently has 14 million subscribers — features videos that foster early childhood development “with a special focus on speech, language and social-emotional skills.”
It was inspired by her son, Thomas, now 6, who was diagnosed with a speech delay as a toddler. She couldn’t find content that aided in his progress, so she began creating her own.
“His first word was at 2 years and 8 months and it was ‘mama,’ and I had waited for that for so long,” Ms. Rachel told NBC News. “As a parent you want to do anything you can to help them and it’s not our fault when our child has a speech delay. A lot of things I teach are things I wish I had known for my son.”

Ms. Rachel makes her videos with the help of her husband, Aron, who is a composer and the associate music director for Aladdin on Broadway.
“My co-creator, co-pilot, and co-producer — working tirelessly behind the scenes. There’s no Ms. Rachel without Mr. Aron. @aronaccurso,” she wrote in her Wednesday Instagram post alongside photos of her and Aron. “Thank you for making my dreams come true, babe! (And of course love of my life, best friend, soulmate! And amazing dada
).”

Fans flocked to the comments section to not only ask for more episodes but praise the couple and their content. “Beautiful couple! Thank you @aronaccurso for supporting this beautiful human. You have both made the world a better place on so many fronts,” one follower wrote, with another adding, “Beautiful! The right person makes you SPARKLE
and it is clear Aaron has supported you to get to where you are today. Love it so much!”
Ms. Rachel has celebrity admirers as well, including Robert De Niro. The actor, 81, admitted that he wakes up each morning to his baby daughter, Gia, and the soothing sounds of “Songs for Littles.”
“I’m an early riser,” he told The Sunday Times in January. “I’ve got a 19-month-old baby. I spend my mornings watching Ms. Rachel with her, and I give her her bottle.”
Drew Barrymore is also a fan and welcomed Ms. Rachel to her show in September 2024. “You have really changed the world,” Barrymore, 50, gushed to the YouTuber.
