Massive Attack are set to headline London’s “first ever 100 per cent battery powered” day festival.The Bristol trip hop duo – comprising Robert ‘3D’ Del Naja and Grant ‘Daddy G’ Marshall – will top the bill at the all-new LIDO Festival at Victoria Park in East London on June 6.And as part of their ACT 1.5 initiative to “rapidly decarbonise live music events”, and in partnership with clean energy provider Ecotricity, they will set the gold standard by going completely battery powered at LIDO.
