Kristin Cavallari Shares Rare Photo of 10-Year-Old Son Jaxon’s Face

Kristin Cavallari enjoyed a special mother-son outing with her middle child, Jaxson — and has the photo evidence to prove its success.

“Date night,” Cavallari, 38, captioned a Friday, March 21, Instagram Story selfie featuring her second son, 10.

Cavallari, who shares Jaxson with ex-husband Jay Cutler, further revealed that the pair went to try Hattie B’s Hot Chicken eatery in Nashville.

“OK, we’re trying Hattie B’s for the first time. [I’ve] never had it after all these years,” the Hills alum stated in a follow-up video. “Mm, [it’s] a little spicy, like, mild. It’s so good.”

As Cavallari flashed a thumbs up to the camera, Jaxson dipped a piece of fried chicken into some sauce and tried the dish for himself.

In another Instagram Story snap, Cavallari and Jaxson posed for a selfie while holding up their breaded delights. Jaxson, for his part, flashed a thumbs up with his free hand.

“Wait, honestly, so freakin good,” Cavallari captioned her post.

Cavallari also shares son Camden, 12, and daughter Saylor, 8, with retired NFL star Cutler, 41. The now-exes rarely upload images that feature their kids’ faces via social media.

“I still think they’re a little young to be on that stuff, but the day is coming, of course,” Cavallari exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2023. “Selfishly, I’m excited for them to join all this stuff because then that means I can start posting them ‘cause, I mean, of course, I wanna share that whole part of my world with people.”

She added: “I just wanna respect their privacy until they’re old enough to make that decision. I think I wanna keep them off of social media for a few more years. I mean, my oldest is almost 11, but I think that’s really young to be on social media.”

At the time, Cavallari explained that Jaxson and Camden especially had started to take an interest in social media.

“My boys are obsessed with YouTube,” she told Us. “I guess YouTube has what’s called YouTube Shorts, which is similar to TikTok. So, like, they’re obsessed with that [and] they want YouTube channels. … I just joined TikTok and [Camden] is, like, checking my numbers constantly. Like, ‘How many followers do you have now?’ I get all of that.”

While Cavallari’s kids are starting to express interest in social media platforms, they haven’t felt the same enthusiasm to rewatch old episodes from her stints on Laguna Beach or The Hills.

“They’ve, like, YouTubed some stuff, but not really,” the Uncommon James founder added to Us in 2023. “I don’t think they’re, like, really interested in it. They started to watch one of the podcast episodes that was on video, but they get bored of that stuff really quickly. You know, they think they wanna watch it and then they start to and they’re like, ‘This is so boring.’”
