An easy-to-make Indonesian fritter with a wonderful flavour.
Items:
Two cups of maize kernels
One onion
Five cloves Garlic
Two green chillies
Two tablespoons coriander leaves
two tablespoons grated carrot
two tablespoons grated capsicum
One cup of rice flour
One cup of maida
To taste Salt according to personal preference Oil for deep-frying
Instructions for Cooking:
Add the onion, garlic, green chillies and corn to a grinder and grind until a fine paste forms.
After removing the paste, put the carrots, capsicum, and coriander in a bowl.
Stir in the remaining corn, rice flour and maida. Season with salt. Pour in enough water to create a spreadable consistency.
In a kadhai, heat the oil. Using a spoon, spread the mixture. When the colour changes, turn the cook over. Cook till crisp over medium heat.
Serve the tomato sauce with the fritters. Have fun.
