It’s Game Over for Cody Rhodes if Triple H Listens to His Old Friend’s Plan for John Cena and The Rock

As he nears his retirement, John Cena shocked his fans by suddenly turning heel after being THE face of the WWE. He aligned with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson while in the ring with Cody Rhodes at the 2025 Elimination Chamber. Now, he is all set to battle against him at WrestleMania 41 and honestly, we can’t wait to see if he wins the championship yet again, establishing himself as the wrestler with the most world title reigns of all time.

And if WWE wants to spice things up, Kevin Nash has the perfect proposal. The actor and retired wrestler recently expressed his opinion on who should be the third man in John Cena and Dwayne Johnson’s group and it is definitely not Travis Scott.

WWE might have its fair share of odd groupings but the recent trio of John Cena, Dwayne Johnson, and Travis Scott sure takes the cake here. While Cena turning heel will go down as one of the most iconic moments in WWE history, Scott’s presence seemed a little out of place for many fans.

Reports suggest that the rapper is looking to make his entry into the wrestling world and is even training for it. However, there are many, including Kevin Nash, who believe that he just doesn’t belong, at least not in the trio.

During his recent appearance on the Kliq This podcast with Sean Oliver, Nash stated that Randy Orton should turn heel and join WWE’s two most incredible wrestlers, replacing Scott as the “third man.”

In Nash’s words,

It would be a copycat now, but I mean, if you gave it a package, you know… I don’t think Travis Scott’s the right guy to be out there as the thirdWhat if you could get [Steve] Austin or Taker? If they just had a couple, maybe a year left in them, you could get that one. You know what I mean? Because then it’s a different era—none of the new guys. But we’ve all timed out. I think Randy looks amazing right now.

While Orton has turned heel multiple times, he is currently in his babyface era and it sure would be interesting to see if he makes the switch again. Will Nash be able to convince his long-time friend and WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H aka Paul Levesque, to go with this storyline?

If Orton does join the two, Cody Rhodes better watch his back as the trio will do everything in their power to make his life hell.

WWE fans are totally on board with the idea

Whether Orton turns heel or not remains to be seen but it looks like fans are already convinced that this needs to happen. WrestleMania 41 is just around the corner and it is going to be a big one thanks to Cena’s retirement.

Clearly, a lot is at stake for the wrestler turned actor but if Orton turns into the bad guy during the event, he just might steal the spotlight from Cena. Well, we have a feeling that fans might not complain.

Take a look at some of the reactions to Nash’s proposal:

If there is one thing we know about the WWE is that it is extremely unpredictable and who knows what’s going to happen next? Regardless of whether Orton joins The Rock and Cena, WrestleMania 41 is already shaping up to be one of the most unforgettable events in WWE history.

Stay tuned!

WrestleMania 41 will take place on April 19 and April 20. It will be available on pay-per-view and will also be livestreamed on Netflix
