Invincible recently concluded its third installment with a power-packed season finale that set up multiple possibilities for season 4. The animated series has already been renewed for a fourth installment, and the season 3 finale will only add to the anticipation surrounding it. However, despite the impressive finale, fans aren’t happy with one aspect of the series.

Following the season 3 finale, fans took to social media to discuss the episode. While most fans were impressed with the episode overall, they also highlighted the poor animation quality in contrast with the finale. As a result, fans called for Amazon to fix the issue before the fourth season. Here is why fans are still not happy with Invincible‘s animation quality.
Invincible fans criticize Amazon for poor animation despite the season 3 finale
Invincible is an animated series based on Robert Kirkman’s comic book of the same name. The series recently wrapped its third installment with an explosive finale, which saw Mark Grayson face off against the Viltrumite Conquest.

The third season finale was received mostly positively, with fans praising its writing and vocal performances. At the same time, fans on Reddit also felt that the episode’s animation quality was far superior to the previous episodes.
I am once again asking a multi-trillion dollar company to invest just a little bit into one of their best tv products.
User @BoGuckeyes made the above comment, praising the finale’s animation quality while calling for more consistency in the forthcoming seasons. Here is what other fans of the series had to say about the animation quality of Invincible on Reddit.
As the comments indicate, most fans called for Amazon to improve the show’s animation quality to be consistent across the season.
While fans loved the quality of season 3’s finale, the rest of the season was marred with complaints over its poor animation. Therefore, fans have been calling out Amazon for the poor quality while asking the streamer to invest more money into what is arguably one of the best superhero TV shows of recent times.
Amazon must improve Invincible‘s animation quality after Robert Kirkman’s comments
Despite the drop in animation quality, Invincible remains one of the most popular superhero shows. The series is arguably more popular than Rings of Power and Wheel of Time, high-budget fantasy shows from Amazon, which have received poor reviews.

Therefore, there is a strong case to be made for the streamer to improve the animation by Amazon spending slightly more compared to the other big-budget shows so there can be consistency in animation quality.
In an interview with Polygon, creator Robert Kirkman revealed that he intended for the series to last at least seven to eight seasons, stating:
I think in the seven-to-eight-season range seems like it would be enough. But there could be some things we move through a little faster, some things we expand.
Based on Kirkman’s comments, it is safe to assume that we are barely reaching the halfway point in the story.
Given how dissatisfied fans have been with the inconsistent animation quality of season 3, it won’t take them long to drop the series if the trend continues. As a result, if Amazon wants to save the series from a steep decline in the upcoming fourth installment, it needs to seriously consider investing more to improve the animation quality.
Invincible is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
