AN over 40s fashion fan has told how she found an “amazing” outfit for casual spring days at Dunnes Stores.
Monica, @mon.fesa on Instagram, alerted her followers to her latest bargain finds.

She wrote: “Savida is bringing the sun out.
“What a gorgeous outfit @savida.ds for everyday wear, this yellow pastel colour jumper is so sweet and soft, you will love it.
“The high-rise barrel jeans are beautiful, but I’m short, so they look a bit too long for me. Thank God for alterations.
“Let me know what you think…
“These you can find them @dunnesstores of course.”
A number of her followers rushed to the comments and said it’s a “fab outfit”.
One wrote: “So cute and pretty.”
Another added: “So gorgeous.”
Monica is wearing the Savida Cropped Crew Neck Jumper, which is priced at €25.
The lemon top is stocked in sizes XXS to XXL.
The retailer said: “Brighten up your wardrobe with this cropped jumper from Savida.

‘ALWAYS WINS’
And another fashion fan has told how Dunnes “always wins” with their cosy tracksuits.
The grey two-piece the shopper showed off is just one of a selection of tracksuits available in store.
Posting on TikTok back in January under @chloechlo945, fashion lover Chloe tried on the tracksuit set for followers.
She modelled the sweatshirt and grey joggers that have slogan writing front and centre.
Chloe wrote: “Dunnes tracksuits for a cosy day.”
And she added: “Dunnes Stores always wins.”
Followers were quick to agree with the mother, rushing to the comments to compliment the set.
One wrote: “Love Dunnes tracksuits and they are so affordable.”
Another said: “These look so soft.”
And one person added: “Need to get some.”
Since the video was posted back in January, Dunnes bosses have added a further selection of the matching tracksuits to their range.
The Slogan Sweatshirt retails at just €10 and comes in sizes XS to XXL.
There are a range of colour options including green, brown, yellow, forest, blue, ivory, purple and stone.
THE HISTORY OF DUNNES STORES

DUNNES Stores opened its first store on Patrick Street in Cork in 1944 – and it was an instant hit.
Shoppers from all over the city rushed to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices in Ireland’s first ‘shopping frenzy’.
During the excitement, a window was forced in and the police had to be called to help control the crowds hoping to bag founder Ben Dunne’s ‘Better Value’ bargains.
Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began to sell groceries in 1960 – starting with apples and oranges.
The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunne yet again offered Better Value than anyone else in town.
“Over time, our food selection has grown and that spirit of good value has remained strong.
“Now we offer a wide range of carefully-sourced foods from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”
The retailer’s first Dublin store opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street and a super store on South Great Georges Street was unveiled in 1960.
They added: “In 1971, our first Northern Irish store opened, and many others soon followed.
“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain, and later into Scotland and England.”
Dunnes now has 142 stores and employs 15,000 people.
