I transformed my boring beige kitchen in minutes with a £7 Temu buy – everyone is obsessed with how good it looks

Ellie posted her incredible before and after pictures on TikTok from her account @haveyouseentheirhouse, and has so far racked up 171,000 views.

She wrote: “Our kitchen was beautiful but just too neutral for my taste!

“I’ve found the tiles I want but they’re super expensive and it’s just not on the agenda right now.

“But these peel & stick tiles have COMPLETELY transformed the space SO easily.”

The pictures show Ellie’s kitchen before her DIY glow up – the bright and airy space has cream units and white marble-effect worktops, with neutral colours on the walls, blinds and radiators too.

In the next picture, Ellie’s kitchen has been totally transformed with some extremely realistic stick on tiles.

She’d chosen a cheerful pink colour, perfect for the upcoming spring and summer months, and they looked just like the real thing.

Incredibly, Ellie said she’d managed to do the “whole kitchen” in under two hours, thanks to how easy the adhesive tiles are to apply.

“I’m terrible with diy,” she said, but these tiles were “super easy” to apply, even around plug sockets.

She added: “I just slightly unscrewed and lifted [the socket], slotted [the tiles] underneath the edges. All I used was scissors. Easy peasy.”

And, the tiles were a total bargain, as she says she spent just £7 per pack.

TikTok users react

Viewers in the comments went wild for the realistic tile effect.

One person wrote: “Omg, so cute!”

While a second user said: “Such a pretty pink.”

And somebody else commented: “We’ve got these too – best purchase EVER.”

Where to buy

The stick on tiles are available from Temu, in a variety of colours: green, grey, pink, blue or white.

They come in packs of five, 10, or 30, so you can select how many you need depending on the size of your space.

Happy customers have given them an impressive 4.8 stars online, leaving hundreds of positive reviews.

One shopper wrote: “Literally amazing, I’m so happy with these. Very sticky so make sure you measure up because once they’re on, they are staying on.

“Colour is so nice too. Update – had a shower and none have lifted…so good.”

While another person said: “They look great, easy to install and have transformed my ugly bathroom.”
