GOLD CUP hero Inothewayurthinkin could cost punters a fortune – if the red-hot Grand National favourite swerves the £1million Aintree race.
Gavin Cromwell’s stable star blew away defending champion Galopin Des Champs in last Friday’s blockbuster.

Owned by JP McManus, he forked out a £25,000 supplementary fee so Inothewayurthinkin could run in racing’s most prestigous contest.
McManus has already safely entered his new superstar in this year’s Grand National, which he won last year with I Am Maximus.
But there are huge doubts over whether or not Inothewayurthinkin will line in the world’s most famous race, despite being as short as 3-1.
And it could have disastrous consequences for punters after so many steamed into him following his Gold Cup rout.
More than £50,000 has been matched on Inothewayurthinkin on the Betfair Exchange, where punters bet against other punters.
While a surge of cash after his Gold Cup win saw his National odds plummet from 7-1 into the current price.
Inothewayurthinkin will carry just 11-5 in the National, some 7lbs below top weight I Am Maximus.
McManus, who also owns huge National chances Iroko, Perceval Legallois and Meetingofthewaters, has gone from the Gold Cup to Aintree before – but with awful consequences.
Synchronised won the 2012 Cheltenham feature and was sent to the Grand National a few weeks later.
But, ridden again by AP McCoy, he was fatally injured when falling at the sixth.
McManus said a decision on where Inothewayurthinkin won’t be made just yet.
While handler Cromwell refused to rule out Aintree or a run at Punchestown Festival at the end of April, saying there’s ‘no reason’ he can’t run again.
Cromwell said on Luck On Sunday: “He got an entry and Aintree and I know he was made favourite but he’s not a definite runner.
“His jumping was very sticky last year and it has improved all of this season.
“But the last thing you want to do is go to Aintree and give him a fright and put him on the back foot.”
