Lake Almanor Resort recently stocked 1,000 pounds of fish, including Cutbows and large trophy Golden Trout. The lake is now full and spilling over the spillway after recent rain. Anglers are having success using Powerbait from the shore and trolling Speedy Shiners by boat. With just 10 days left in the fishing derby, there are still around 100 tagged derby trout available to catch. Now is an excellent opportunity to try and snag one of these remaining fish.
