Taking Rocky Balboa’s story to a completely different level, Ryan Coogler turned the legendary boxer into Adonis Creed’s mentor. The Creed film series is the first spin-off of Rocky, and let’s just say that it successfully revitalized the franchise for a new generation. Now, Michael B. Jordan will soon be returning to play the titular character, but the question is, will his Creed III co-star be joining him?

After everything that went down in Jonathan Majors’ life recently, his career in Hollywood seems to be covered by a thick layer of smog. However, as far as Michael B. Jordan is concerned, he would love to reunite with the actor on screen, whether it is for Creed or anything else.
Michael B. Jordan on working with Jonathan Majors again

After getting arrested in March 2023 for physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, Jonathan Majors is serving a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program.
As he hopes for a comeback and a redemption arc so good you could make a movie about, people around him have their own two cents on it all. While one of his ex-girlfriends, Maura Hooper, couldn’t care less about his return, Michael B. Jordan is all about helping Majors turn over a new leaf.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, Jordan stated that he would love to make Creed IV with Majors as well as other projects. The Black Panther actor believes that after making up for his deeds, there is nothing left for him to do except start over.
In his words,
He was arrested. He went to court. He did what he was supposed to do. I’m not sure what else there is. I would love to make Creed IV together — among other projects.
Well, there you go. So, there is a chance that Creed IV might see the return of Adonis’ childhood friend-turned-rival, Dame. As for Sylvester Stallone‘s return, there really isn’t much we can say at the moment.
Will Sylvester Stallone return to Creed?

The OG actor wasn’t a part of Creed III‘s star cast but was credited as a producer.
After dropping out of the film due to a difference of opinion and a quarrel with producer Irwin Winkler, he refused to watch Creed III and even called Winkler a “parasite” for “picking clean the bones” of the characters Stallone created (via Men’s Health).
Whether he would return for a fourth film, Stallone admitted that he would love to work with Jordan again as long as Winkler was nowhere to be seen in the equation. In a conversation with Jessica Shaw for SiriusXM, he stated,
Michael B. Jordan, nice guy, the studio’s wonderful. But it’s just the…it’s been such a real, rough emotional ride. That’s all. It really has. Now, if Michael B. Jordan, we come up with a story, I’ll do ‘Creed 4’ with him as long as the other fella’s not involved.
However, as far as the reports go, Winkler will probably be a part of Creed 4, meaning Stallone might not be returning to play Rocky in the Jordan-directed flick after all.
Creed III is available to rent/buy on Prime Video.
