CELTIC have reportedly joined the transfer race for an 18-year-old winger who’s being valued at over £8million by his current club.
Brendan Rodgers was crying our for added attacking reinforcements in January but he was left wanting more when the window slammed shut as he failed to bring in a replacement for Kyogo Furuhashi.

The manager also watched Luis Palma leave the club on loan, with only Jota and Jeffrey Schlupp arriving despite many more being linked.
Brondby’s Mathias Kvistgaarden and Slovan Bratislava hitman David Strelec were just two of the several forwards who were on Celts’ radar.
Both the Danish club and Slovakian outfit slapped heavy price tags on the player which the Hoops were not prepared to pay.
Now the Scottish champions have been warned it will take a similar fee if they want to land this wonderkid in the summer.
Celtic are said to be one of at least two clubs who have expressed interest in signing Nancy starlet Herba Guirassy.
The 18-year-old Frenchman has quickly risen to fame in Ligue 1 after only making his senior debut for the Canaries at the start of this season.
He was promoted to the first team at the start of the campaign by manager Antoine Kombouaré, who spent two years at Aberdeen as a player between 1996 and 1998.
The starlet has been a mainstay in his squad ever since having proved time and time again he can be either a quality addition to the bench or even his starting XI.
Guirassy has made 17 appearances for the first team this season, scoring three goals.
His form throughout the campaign has earned him praise and plaudits from pundits up and down the country.
And clubs a bit farther afield have been taking note too.
French outlet Le Republicain Sportif claim Celtic are keen on signing the player and are in the process of exploring a deal for him in the coming months.
However, they face stiff competition as it’s also suggested Premier League hopefuls Leeds United have also been keeping close tabs on the player.
The report finally states that Nantes will only consider selling him if they receive an offer of €10million (£8.4m).
The 18-year-old is contracted with Nantes until June 2028 so the Ligue 1 outfit are in no rush to sell.
