In 2019, Mandy Moore took on an adventure far from the red carpet and fame and set off to trek to the Mount Everest Base Camp. “Traversing this terrain has its challenges. Breathing at altitude, for instance, is not easy.” She added, “Besides hydration and staying nourished, breathing is THE vital key in the fight against altitude sickness. It’s also a major takeaway that I will be applying back to the real world whether I’m in the midst of a tough workout or a weird day. Mind blown.”

She also praised her Sherpa guides for helping her complete the journey, praising their strength and expertise in handling the tough conditions. A Grammy-nominated singer and rapper, Mike Posner is best known for his songs Cooler Than Me and I Took A Pill In Ibiza. He is not just a singer but has also established himself as a deeply introspective artist and an adventurer.

Things took a dark turn for him after his father passed away due to cancer. After enduring the loss of a dear one, Posner set out on a journey of healing and self-discovery; he went on a walk of 2,851 miles (4,588 kilometers) from New Jersey to California. During this walk, in Colorado, the singer was bitten by a rattlesnake, a life-threatening situation that required him to be air-lifted to a hospital. He continued on his adventure after three weeks.

On June 1, 2021, Posner reached the top of the mountain. He was challenged in unimaginable ways, facing freezing temperatures, lack of oxygen, and altitude sickness.
