Horrifying videos shared on social media show the plane completely upside down and lying on its roof.

The jet is surrounded by smoke in the aftermath of the terrifying scene.

“Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis,” the airport shared on X.

“Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for.”

Paramedics said up to eight people were injured in the incident, according to Canadian news channel CP24.

A passenger named John Nelson shared a video from the scary scene to Facebook on Monday.

“We just landed,” he said in a video showing the aircraft upside down.

“Our plane crashed, its upside down. Fire department is onsite.

“Most people appear to be okay. We’re all getting off, [there’s] some smoke going on.”

This is the latest in a series of plane disasters in the past few weeks, including a midair collision between a passenger plane and a military helicopter that killed 67 people on January 29.

My boxing career feels like a prison sentence even when I win – Anthony Joshua got it spot on

HAMZAH SHEERAZ is treating his boxing career as a jail sentence — with Anthony Joshua in the cell next door.

The Ilford-born middleweight, 25, faces Dominican Carlos Adames in Riyadh on Saturday, with the WBC crown and a step closer to freedom at stake.

It has been a rocky road for the Londoner, whose dad was in and out of jail, which meant his mum raised Sheeraz and his two younger siblings almost single-handedly.

When the 21-0 ace was reminded that AJ once compared boxing to a stretch behind bars, Sheeraz laughs that even the good days are like being banged up.

He said: “AJ isn’t wrong. Even after you have won a fight, it is only like being in a cat-D prison.

“It’s like I am still on tag and have to be at home at certain times. The way AJ put it into perspective is spot-on.

“I never really looked at it like that before.”

Despite his dedication to his mum — who sold her jewellery at times when former Gloucestershire cricketer Kamran was locked up — Sheeraz has flown the nest to help realise his dream.

Training camps are held in California, where he and American coach Ricky Funez have formed a brilliant bond.

And his downtime is split between Dubai and Saudi Arabia, where he hopes to be crowned this weekend.

CASINO SPECIAL – BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS

With a huge family and a proud British-Pakistani community pulling him in all directions, home visits are becoming shorter and the comforts are being craved.

Despite squeezing his 6ft 3in frame into 11st 7lb, Sheeraz said: “I miss fish and chips.

“I don’t want to miss Arsenal winning loads of titles and trophies in the next few years.

“I thought I had time to catch up with the family after the last fight but it was probably only two days and then I was off again. I don’t mean to sound harsh but that was enough!

“All my family understand the vision and for the next five to seven years I really need to capitalise on my opportunities and give 100 per cent to my craft.”

Barring a surprise 2023 sparring session with pop star Justin Bieber and a few verbals with Chris Eubank Jr, Sheeraz swerves the limelight.

He knows he could command bigger purses and get more attention by playing up for the cameras.

But he added: “I know a lot of fighters say ‘I let my fists do the talking’ — but I am the perfect example of doing that.

“When my fists do the talking, they also put bums on seats. I don’t have to talk s**t and then win a boring fight.

“My sole objective when I get in the ring is to knock them out. Not just win.

“That is why I am getting the right attention and the right fights.”

Mark Selby reveals he almost RETIRED from snooker after suffering crippling mental health issues

MARK SELBY came close to quitting snooker last summer as he battled with crippling mental health issues.

Eight months on, the four-time world champion has won two ranking titles and will head to the Crucible in April as one of the favourites.

The Jester from Leicester — who has suffered with depression all through his career — had a sit-down chat with his wife, Vikki, and pals and considered hanging up his cue after losing to Joe O’Connor in the first round at Sheffield last year.

After winning the Welsh Open on Sunday, Selby revealed: “If you’d asked me after that game at the Crucible would I carry on, I’d have probably said no.

“If you had put me on the spot, there and then, I’d have probably never played again.

“I spoke to friends and family and said, ‘I’m not really enjoying it . . . I cannot keep putting myself through it’ because it was making me even more ill.

“They were saying, ‘Why don’t you have a bit of time out? Don’t go anywhere near the table.’

“I spoke to my doctor and he said to me, ‘Whenever you feel like that, just pick and choose. I know you want to play in everything but you need to start putting yourself first.’

“That’s what I thought I would do and after the summer, I seemed to be in a better place.

“That’s not to say that from now until the end of the season, I might play in everything — that could easily turn.

“But if I’m in that position again like I was a couple of weeks before the last Worlds, I definitely won’t compete. It’s not healthy.”

Selby, 41, beat Stephen Maguire 9-6 in the Llandudno final to claim a 24th ranking success, following his British Open win in September.

Part of his £100,000 prize pot will go towards a Kindle book reader for his ten-year-old daughter Sofia — though he has little time to get one.

Tomorrow, he flies to the World Open in China, where he faces Liu Hongyu on Sunday.

The world No 3 added: “Confidence-wise, this win is great. But confidence is only good if you’re in a good place.

“If you aren’t in a great place mentally then that confidence is irrelevant because you won’t perform to a good level.

“At the moment, if I can maintain where I am, then of course I’ll go to the Crucible very confident.

“I’m enjoying the challenge out there — hence why I’m probably playing a bit better.”
