The sad reality of how much people REALLY make on OnlyFans & Bonnie Blue’s £600k earnings shouldn’t make you quit a 9-5

WE OFTEN see OnlyFans models showing off their lavish lifestyles online – from living in mansions to designer shopping sprees.

But the sad reality is that those eager to try and make easy money, and lots of it, will earn just pennies.

But it seems it’s much harder to get there than people like to believe[/caption]

The average OnlyFans salary is way less than social media make it appear[/caption]

According to Variety, the average creator earns just £1,032 ($1,300) a year – or £85 ($108) a month, a lot less than the likes of Bonnie Blue who claims to earn £600,000 a month or Sophie Rain who made £34 million in her first year on the site.

One model on the site was ranked in the top 71 percentile of all creators but had just two active subscribers, reports Range Media

We often only hear about the top 0.01 percent of OnlyFans models who are able to rake in millions a year – but the reality is vastly different.

Despite many seeing OnlyFans as an easy way to quit your 9 to 5 and become a millionaire overnight, it couldn’t be further from the truth.

Most top earners on OnlyFans were already famous before participating in sex work reports MailOnline, meaning they had plenty of adoring fans waiting to subscribe to their account.

Top Stars

Blac Chyna, a reality TV star and ex to Robert Kardashian already had thousands of followers before taking to the site and raking in over £15 million.

Another top creator is Australian rapper Iggy Azalea who is thought to make £7 million a month.

It’s not just regular celebrities making a boatload of cash, Australia‘s Anna Paul makes £200,000 a month but rose to fame by becoming an influencer on TikTok.

Sophie Rain is just 20 and claimed to make £34 million in her first year on OnlyFans, making her one of the biggest money makers in the site’s history.

Now Sophie and seven other OnlyFans models live together in a mansion in Miami named the ‘Bop House’ and has been compared to the modern Playboy Mansion.

Anna Paul built her following as a social media influencer before heading to OnlyFans[/caption]

The opulent residence, which costs £60,000 a month to rent, spans across 8,890 sq ft with six bedrooms and five bathrooms.

There’s no grotto – but there is a pool, rooftop sundeck and direct access to the water with a space to park a yacht or jet ski.

While the UK’s top OnlyFans star, Bonnie Blue, has revealed she makes £600,000 a month.

That means the 25-year-old from a rural village in Derbyshire is making at least £7.2 million per year.

What is OnlyFans?

OnlyFans is a subscription content service based in London.

As of 2023, it is thought to have more than 220million registered users and over three million content creators.

Sex workers charge monthly fees for access to pictures, videos and more.

While popular for porn, the site isn’t exclusively designed with that in mind – anyone who wants to build up a fan base and charge them for it can set one up.

Celebs like Katie Price and Kerry Katona are popular personalities on the platform.

“Whether you’re uploading tutorials, tips, behind-the-scenes footage or just endless selfies, a lot of your followers would be willing to pay for them,” the company states.

For every subscription that’s sold to a viewer, performers get 80 per cent of the cash while OnlyFans gets the rest.

It isn’t limited to adult content, as it has become popular with physical fitness experts and musicians.

Sad Reality

Watching their lavish lives on social media has left many people wondering if they should jump on the bandwagon amid the cost of living crisis.

One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “Maybe I should just start an OnlyFans.”

“The urge to start an Onlyfans is so real,” penned another, while a third added: “Just lost my job who wanna start an OnlyFans?”

But some women are actually doing it, Laura Watson, a spokesperson for the English Collective of Prostitutes (ECP) which supports sex workers across the UK, says there’s an increase in women looking for sex work.

She told ITV: “Since the start of the cost of living crisis we saw an increase in calls to our helpline: women, specifically, asking how to go into prostitution, asking how to get back into it – many women after having left for many years thinking about how to get back into it. So we knew that many people were turning to prostitution to fill the gap.”

Despite what OnlyFans models show online, creators in the top 1 percent of earners roughly make £38,000 annually, just over the median UK salary of £37,430.

While the big payouts go to those in the 0.1 percent, who earn around 15 times the amount of the average creator in the top 1 percent, according to Matthew Ball

Last year, the CEO of OnlyFans revealed the company has paid out $20 billion to its creators since its creation in 2016.

CEO Keily Blair was speaking at the Bloomberg Screentime conference in Los Angeles when she revealed the incredible figure.

Porn is free on the internet. think the reason why people pay for OnlyFans is because they want to engage with those particular creators,” Blair said.

“It’s because of the ability to customise, as well as to ask for specific content.”

She continued, “Everyone assumes it’s sexy content. Some of it sexy content and we’re very happy with that, we’re an inclusive platform, and we’re that way for a reason.

“We believe it’s very important for adult content creators to have a safe space, to be able to monetise and also to be able to do that alongside other content creators.

“We’re all adults, we’re all grownups, we can all choose what content we subscribe to.”

Sky releases major TV upgrade today for popular streaming app and there are changes for sports fans too

TELLY fans may notice a huge change on their screens today as a popular streaming service kick starts a major overhaul.

Sky has been busy of late, unveiling a Sky Glass Gen 2 TV just last week.

Sky
New look is rolling out from today through March[/caption]

But today it’s time for a shake-up to the company’s sister product, NOW – formerly known as NOW TV.

The streaming platform has received a complete revamp in a bid to make it easier for viewers to find their favourite shows.

NOW is home to much of Sky’s most popular content, including the new series of The White Lotus which returned to Sky Atlantic on Monday.

The overhaul will also mean some changes for Sky Sports subscribers too.

Sky is moving NOW’s underlying technology across to the NBCUniversal system used by its counterpart in the US.

The firm says the move will “further enhance” the viewing experience, providing people with a more personalised approach overall.

A new-look user interface makes it easier to jump into the shows you want to watch.

This includes new rails showcasing content such as Top 10s and smoother search options.

For those who have the NOW Sky Sports package, SkySports+ streams will be housed as curated collections.

This should make it easier to get to what users want to watch in one place, such as The Miami Open tennis tournament.

Sky says there is more choice and control for families too, with the introduction of Kids profiles.

This allows little ones to access more than 10,000 episodes of children’s content, including shows like all ad-free.

The update is being rolled out to NOW devices, as well as smart TVs and tablets, in the UK and Ireland from February 18 and through March.

NOW members in Italy will see the same changes in spring, followed by Germany at a later date.

Stream swapping – the easy way to cut your bills?

Here’s what Sean Keach, The Sun’s Head of Technology and Science, thinks…

It’s no secret that TV streaming apps are costing more and more.

Not only are prices shooting up, but we find ourselves asked to pay for an increasing number of apps and services.

And when you combine those TV bills with your music streaming, mobile and internet fees, and every other drain on your bank account, it all starts to get a bit much.

One of the best ways to cut your TV bills is to simply cancel all of your streaming subscriptions and only sign up to one per month.

Pick an app like Netflix, Disney+, or Apple TV+ and smash through all of the content you want to watch on that app.

Then the next month, swap to something else.

And once you’ve done them all, you can cycle back to the start again.

It’s an easy way to avoid forking out for a rolling library of streaming apps with more content than you could possibly watch.

Also don’t forget that paid-for streaming isn’t the only game in town.

There are loads of apps that don’t cost a penny to enjoy, and downloading a few will unlock thousands of live TV channels plus tens of thousands of movies and shows.

Try apps like Tubi, The Roku Channel, Plex, and Pluto TV to get some ad-supported television without having to pay any monthly fees.

New sighting of infamous ‘Bushman’ armed bandit on run with ‘gang’ of his kids aged 9 to 11 in bizarre case gripping NZ

INFAMOUS fugitive dad Tom Phillips and his three children may have been spotted again in the latest twist to the bizarre case gripping New Zealand for years.

The Marokopa man, who has been on the run with his kids since 2021, was allegedly spotted in a layby on State Highway 4, south of Te Kūiti, on Sunday morning.

A member of the public reported seeing a group of four people — an adult male and three children — dressed in camouflage around 8.30 am, The New Zealand Herald reports.

“Police are now working to establish whether this is a credible sighting and are working to rule out other possible scenarios,” a police spokesperson said.

ON THE RUN

Phillips, 36, has been hiding in the New Zealand wilderness with his children – Jayda, 11, Maverick, 10 and Ember, nine – since December 2021.

The last confirmed appearance of the runaway dad – dubbed ‘the Bushman’ for his ability to live off-grid – and his children was in October last year.

Two teenage pig hunters captured footage of the group trekking through farmland in bushland west of Coutts Road in Marokopa.

“This is the first time all three of the children have been sighted, which is positive information, and we know it will be reassuring for the children’s wider family,” police said at the time.

The sighting triggered a three-day search involving a military helicopter, but Phillips and the children disappeared again.

Phillips isn’t just wanted for taking his children.

Police allege he was caught on CCTV attempting to rob a Piopio store in November 2023.

The masked pair — believed to be Phillips and one of his children — were seen smashing the shop’s front glass before fleeing.

He’s also accused of robbing a bank and firing a gun at a supermarket worker in Te Kūiti in May 2023.

Police believe Phillips fled into the wilderness after losing legal custody of his children to Oranga Tamariki, New Zealand’s child welfare agency.

“That’s effectively why we believe he has taken the children, over custody,” Acting Detective Inspector Andrew Saunders previously said.

Saunders also suggested Phillips may have used his first disappearance in September 2021 as a “warm-up” for his long-term escape.

DESPERATE MUM’S PLEA

The children’s mum, Cat, has repeatedly begged for their return.

“I am standing here before you today begging you for your help to bring my babies home,” she said in an emotional video plea last year.

“They are just innocent children, they do not deserve to be treated this way. They do not deserve the life that is being provided to them right now.”

Cat has accused Phillips of using their children as “pawns in his game” and believes he is being helped by a network of supporters.

Criminal psychologist Dr. Tim Watson-Munro has warned of the long-term effects on the children, saying: “I would worry professionally about their psychological wellbeing arising from all of this.

” I mean, it’s an abnormal type of life for young kids to lead.”

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Phillips or his children to come forward.

Who is 'The 'Bushman' Tom Phillips?

TOM Phillips is a fugitive father from New Zealand who has been on the run with his three children since December 2021.

His case has gripped the country, with police launching multiple searches and appeals for information.

Phillips first vanished with his children—Jayda, Ember, and Maverick—on September 11, 2021.

The family was missing for three weeks before unexpectedly returning home.

Phillips claimed they had been living off the grid in the remote bushland near Marokopa, a small coastal settlement in the Waikato region.

Following this, a court granted legal custody of the children to Oranga Tamariki, New Zealand’s child welfare agency.

Just a few months later, in December 2021, Phillips disappeared again—this time for good.

Authorities issued a warrant for his arrest after he failed to appear in court on charges related to his first disappearance.

Since then, he and his children have been living in the wilderness, avoiding authorities.

Phillips has been spotted multiple times over the years, often dressed in camouflage and carrying survival gear.

He is believed to be living off the land, relying on his bushcraft skills.

Each time, Phillips has managed to slip away before authorities could catch him.

Police believe Phillips fled into the wilderness because he lost custody of his children.

“That’s effectively why we believe he has taken the children, over custody,” Acting Detective Inspector Andrew Saunders said.

Some experts suggest his first disappearance in September 2021 was a “test run” for his long-term escape.

IT’S the time of year when you can’t go anywhere without hearing someone with a hacking cough or horrendous sniffles.

But there’s a Home Bargains buy that people say works wonders for a cold – and it’s so popular that it’s literally flying off the shelves.

TOWIE star Bobby Norris is the latest famous face to rave about the 99p product – Nuage’s vapour bath salts.

“Now when I tell you these sell out quick, this is what we’re at,” he said in a video on his TikTok page, turning the camera to show that there were only a few left on the shelf.

“It’s like the locusts have been!”

He urged people to “run like a thief in the night” to their local Home Bargains, calling the product a “game changer”.

“We’ve all got stinking colds,” he sighed.

“We’re having a terrible time I think. So I would suggest, if you like a bath salt or a shower tablet, get involved.

“Vapour is the way.

“And with everything going round at the minute… you need it in your life.

“I grabbed a couple because as I say, they sell out so so quick.”

If you aren’t a bath person, it also comes in tablet form for the shower.

And other Home Bargains shoppers were quick to agree with Bobby in the comments section, with one writing: “When you know you know!”

“Ooh I’ll grab some!” another added.

“I’m going to get some of them,” a third said.

“Home Bargs is the best place!” someone else gushed.

But another issued a word of warning, after getting a similar bath product from another manufacturer.

“I bought that Vicks bath salts and let me tell you, a little goes a long way,” they wrote.

5 things you didn't know about Home Bargains

  1. Home Bargains was founded by Tom Morris
  2. It’s official name is TJ Morris Ltd but trades as Home Bargains
  3. The first store was opened in Liverpool in 1976
  4. Around 30% of the stores range comprises clearance lines
  5. There are 575 stores nationwide

“I walked in the bathroom after the bath had been running and it took my breath away!”

And the positive reviews of the product kept on coming on Amazon, where it’s being sold for £4.59.

“This time of the year we all get colds, I got this as I had trouble breathing,” one wrote.

“I put in my bath and relaxed – good strong odour.”

“Sprinkle 2 handfuls of salts in a hot bath, sit back and enjoy the steam as it relieves you of your stuffiness,” another said.

“It really is strong – like being in a steam room at a spa!”

Luke Littler signed up for 13 money-spinning exhibitions worth over £10,000 a night after World Darts Championship win

LUKE LITTLER has pencilled in 13 money-spinning exhibitions across Britain this year as he capitalises on his worldwide fame.

Since turning 18 last month, The Nuke has been able to sign up for the nightly events which take place away from the PDC and off TV cameras.

The 18-year-old could earn around £10,000-a-night[/caption]

Punters can pay £300 for platinum tickets, which often includes exclusive player meet-and-greet opportunities, involvement in a nine-darts challenge, signed shirts and stage-side reserved table seats.

Littler‘s first exhibition appearance will be in Kelso, Scotland, on April 25 – which is sold out – the night after the Premier League has been staged in Liverpool.

And then it is an afternoon-evening double-header on April 26 at Ayr racecourse.

About 1500 tickets have been sold for the ‘Armageddon’ exhibition in Leicester on May 16, which has Phil Taylor, Luke Humphries and Raymond van Barneveld on the bill.

Yet the day before, the two Lukes will be in Aberdeen – 440 miles away – for night 15 of the 17-week Premier League road show.

Later this year, Littler will throw non-competitive darts in front of loyal fans in Blackpool, Skegness, Derby (on Halloween), Northampton, his home town of Warrington, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and lastly in Portsmouth.

Elite stars can normally expect to earn more than £10,000 a night when they rock up for exhibitions – it is also a great opportunity to sell merchandise and shirts.

Humphries and Littler battled it out in the Prem final last Thursday in Glasgow – the world champion won 6-5 – and they will be in Dublin this week for night three.

CASINO SPECIAL – BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS

Yet the world No.1 and world No.2 have both pulled out of the Players Championship double-header on Monday and Tuesday in the Dutch town of Rosmalen.

Littler recently opened up about how busy his life has become over the last 14 months, telling the Daily Star: “The schedule is tight!

“So I just want to be in bed all day, but when we go out, we go and have a look around.”

He added: “It depends where we stay. Some places, we go to Germany quite a lot.

“But usually it’s hotel, food, and then you’re off to the venue to play darts… We finish very late.

“And then you can’t just go to a salad place, but most of the time I won’t eat because it’s not a good time to eat at 11pm/12am.

“Most of the time you just want to go to bed!”

Luke Littler prize money breakdown

Davy Russell reveals what made Michael O’Sullivan ‘something special’ from young age as he hails ‘guy for the ages’

DAVY RUSSELL described Michael O’Sullivan as a “guy for the ages” following his tragic death on Sunday.

O’Sullivan, 24, passed away ten days on from a terrible fall at Thurles on February 6.

The Cork rider suffered fatal head injuries after the fall from Wee Charlie in a handicap chase at the Tipperary track.

The remainder of the card was abandoned and Michael, who died just a few days short of his 25th birthday, was airlifted to Cork University Hospital where he remained before his sad passing on Sunday.

He will be laid to rest in his home county of Cork on Wednesday, with Gardai instituting traffic directives on the day of his wake, on Tuesday.

Former champion jockey Russell appeared on Off The Ball to pay tribute to O’Sullivan, with whose family Russell has a close relationship.

Reflecting on the Irishman’s fall, the 45-year-old said: “I was waiting for one of the horses to run in one of the maiden hurdles or something and just wasn’t coming up.

“Next thing, I looked and it said racing was delayed. Then you look to see who got falls.

“I rang Darragh O’Keeffe because I saw it was Michael who got the fall and I rang Darragh because I know Darragh sits beside him in the weight room and they sit in the same line where I used to sit.

“I just didn’t get a good feeling about the whole thing and Darragh said it didn’t look good.

“As days went by, there didn’t seem to be much improvement and, thankfully, I went up to see him.

“I went up to hospital to see his parents because I have known the O’;Sullivan’s for quite a number of years.

“I remember [Michael’s father] William was riding when Michael was born and Alan a few years later.

“I went up to see them and they were very hopeful that things could happen but, unfortunately, he fought very hard but he wasn’t able to pull through.”

Russell’s relationship with the O’Sullivan family goes back to before Michael was born.

He revealed that he lived with Eugene – Michael’s uncle – while he looked up to his father William.

Michael O’Sullivan lived up to his family’s billing, landing his first Cheltenham winners in 2023.

Indeed, Russell disclosed that he first knew he was going to be something special at a very early age.

‘SOMETHING SPECIAL’

The 2014 Gold Cup winner explained: “I was asked to go down to the Duhallow pony club.

“I was going well at the time and I might have won the Gold Cup or something like that.

“They asked me to go down to present some prizes to the kids down at the pony club which you do.

“There were two kids in specific down there. Every word that came out of my mouth, they watched me from the moment I arrived and I just took a second and asked someone who were the two boys.

“One of them was Alan and the other one was Michael O’Sullivan.

“We gave them their prizes and I followed them from there on in.

“Both of them were good good riders. Better than good.

“I have a fierce grá for Alan. He is a very talented chap. Well educated, done their college degrees.

“Michael just showed something that he was going to be special. He was neat and tidy but he explored every bit of the equestrian world.

“From hunting to eventing, messing around riding ponies. He really enjoyed it.

“I spoke to him a number of times on different occasions.

“Obviously I was with him in the weight room as a jockey and very friendly with him.

“He would often ring me looking for advice – not advice really, just his dad was the main and his mam was the love of his life.

“He would often ring to say, ‘what do you think of this?’ or ‘what do you think of that?’

“I would give my opinion and he would go and make his own mind up. He was that type of a guy.

“He asked for advice but he dissected it himself in a good way. He was a great lad to be around.”

LASTING LEGACY

O’Sullivan was one of the rising stars of the weighing room.

He hit the big time when he won the 2024 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle on Barry Connell’s Marine Nationale.

And he made it an incredible day-one double later with victory in the Boodles Juvenile Handicap on Jazzy Matty.

However, Russell believes his lasting legacy will be that of a gentleman who just so happened to be a jockey.
