Bruce, 56, made waves two decades ago as he immersed himself with 15 different tribal communities.

In his latest adventure, the star met The Waimaha deep in the Colombian Amazon.

Viewers watched as presenter Bruce took part in an Ayahuasca Ceremony.

He consumed Yagé – a psychoactive drink used for spiritual ceremonies.

But this ultimately caused the star to puke in a river, before later also throwing up in a tent.

Speaking during the experience, Bruce shared: “It’s five in the morning and there was a moment I lost myself, I needed to go to the toilet and I couldn’t stand up.

“I had an extraordinary blissful connection to the community.

“The dancers have been going for 18 hours and there’s no end yet in sight”

Naturally, fans watching at home soon flocked to social media with their reactions.

One viewer penned on X: “What’s a Sunday night without watching Bruce Parry being sick on the telly?”

Another wrote: “Bruce Parry is f*****g bonkers.”

While a third remarked: “Bruce Parry is a legend. Great first episode, can not believe there has been a 20 year gap from his first expeditions.”

A fourth chimed in: “Bruce Parry on a Stag do from Hell….”

Meanwhile, the brand new series of Tribe is set to be a three-episode mini run as Bruce explores the communities who face real threat in today’s world.

Speaking about the comeback, he said: “It’s been over twenty years since Tribe first aired.

“Living with people who experience the world in such profoundly different ways was eye-opening then, but today it feels vital.

“I believe we have so much to learn from those who still live in deep connection with the world around them.

“It feels a huge privilege that the BBC has allowed me to explore these places and themes once again.”

Kate Ferdinand’s stepson Lorenz, 18, pays tribute to her in heartwarming snap of them together on Mother’s Day

The budding footballer, 18, took to his Instagram stories to share two black and white photos, including one of him as younger child standing next to a smiling Rebecca who died from cancer in 2015.

Then in the following story he shared another photo of himself standing with Kate and their arms around each other.

“Happy Mother’s Day,” Lorenz captioned both photos.

Lorenz is a goalkeeper, currently playing on work experience for seventh-tier side Havant and Waterlooville.

Rio shared three children with Rebecca, including Lorenz’s younger siblings, Tate, 16, and Tia, 13.

The football pundit married Towie star, Kate in 2019 and they are parents to son, Cree, four, and daughter Shae, 20 months.

Kate reshared Lorenz’s post and also took to Instagram Stories to show off her Mother’s Day spoils which include a pink flower and a card on whose envelope read, “to a special step-mum.”

She captioned the photo: “It’s all in the details. Who has opened their card today? Just a little note from me.”

Kate had previously said she struggled to celebrate Mother’s Day knowing her stepchildren had lost their mother.

Mother’s Day for most people is usually a day that we celebrate the women that shaped us,” Kate said on her Blended Podcast in 2022.

“But unfortunately that is just not the case for everyone. For me personally Mother’s Day is a day that I struggle with.

“I’m fortunate to have three amazing stepchildren and my biological son Cree, but sadly my stepchildren lost their mum at a young age and also my husband has lost his mum.

“I really really struggled with Mother’s Day even before I was a biological parent, somehow I thought it would be easier when I had Cree but actually last year was probably the toughest Mother’s Day to date.”

She continued: “It’s a strange feeling the world is celebrating this day and there is a real big loss in my house but also it was my first Mother’s Day – a day in another life that I would really look forward to, but here I am surrounded by my family.

“How can I have the audacity to celebrate myself when all my family have had such a deep loss.

“I felt really alone and quite isolated, I didn’t know anyone in a similar situation or going through the same sort of thing as me.”

Who is Kate Ferdinand?

KATE Ferdinand is the wife of ex-footballer turned pundit Rio.

She shot to fame on our TV screens when she landed a part on reality show TOWIE.

She was born on June 3, 1991, in Essex, and prior to getting her break on TV she worked as a Business Support Manager at a bank.

Kate had been dating a cast member of the show, Dan Edgar, and managed to get her break into stardom when she landed a role on the show herself after the two split in real-life.

Kate is thought to have amassed a wealth of around £1.1m.

Aside from her TV work, she has a number of business interests.

She invested in a Bromley-based business Dolly Donuts and is now a director of the company.

Kate and Rio jetted out to the D Maris Bay hotel in Marmaris, Turkey, in September 2019 to tie the knot.

Ex-footballer Rio and the reality star kicked off celebrations on September 26 with a pre-wedding party for their high-profile guests.

The big day then followed the next afternoon with Rio’s daughter playing the important role of Maid of Honour.

Loved-up Rio and Kate ended their epic three-day celebrations at the £4,000 a night hotel with a pool party.

Kate has stepped away from the limelight to be a mum to her and husband Rio’s children.

She is still something of a social media sensation and her Instagram account has more than 1.5m followers.

You can also find her in the gym five days a week after she admitted she has to work hard to maintain her incredible figure.
