He went missing hours before he was to be sentenced for sending sexual messages to an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old girl.
After being charged with an offence in September 2023, he pleaded guilty on January 30.
But on Thursday, March 13, the day of his sentencing at the Sheriff Court, Bust was instead spotted at Edinburgh Waverly Station at 8.30am.
He was then seen getting off a train at Dunkeld Train Station at 10.18am.
Bust was also last seen wearing a mustard-coloured jacket and carrying a large rucksack and a red/orange metal water bottle.
A non-appearance warrant for his arrest was issued and police sent out a missing persons appeal.
A CCTV image of Bust at the train station was shared on social media.
And the moment he was nicked by officers has been caught on camera.
The convicted perv was arrested after being found at Birnam Glen in Dunkeld, Perthshire, at 12:45pm yesterday afternoon.
The clip shows a man, wearing a mustard coloured jacket, being taken away by an officer in a woodland area.
Another cop can be seen carrying a huge rucksack as they walk away.
After he was found, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Coen Bust, 47, who had been reported missing from Edinburgh, has been traced.

Jemma Solomon, aka The Label Lady has got 5 packing tips to help you get organised for your next holiday.
1. Write a list
Think about all the essentials you need to take with you; suncream, medicine, a few games for the kids, beach towels, and write everything in one list, which you can tick off as you add it to your suitcase.
Or for complete ease, try Google’s AI app – Gemini – which will create a list for you and help you not over pack.
2. Involve your kids
Jemma said: “My girls are getting older, they’re 11 and nine, and they enjoy helping to pack. So I send them a list, and say ‘this is what you need’ and they follow the list.
“And then I give them a rucksack each – and say to them ‘you can have whatever you want in there as long as it’s not liquid’, and they can take that on the plane. And that’s their ‘home away from home’ items.”
3. Try a hack or two
She said: “I think they all work, but for different reasons – and you’ve just got to pick the right one for your trip.
“Rolling your clothes is really good to stop your clothes from getting creases. And if you’re trying to get a lot of items into your case, it’s a space saver.
“Packing cubes are great – for example, I’m going on holiday with my three kids and we’re all using the same suitcase for our clothes.
“These handy compartments let you separate your clothes, toiletries and tech into designated cubes, maximising luggage space by keeping your items compressed and neatly stacked.
“I love taking them abroad with the family and it means my kids can easily take charge of their own items once we’ve arrived.”
4. Decant beauty products
Do you really need to take full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner with you? The beauty industry has evolved so much, you can now buy shampoo bars or sheets – which are much lighter and smaller.
Or, if you’ll be popping to the shops when you’re abroad, consider buying some items when you arrive.
5. Get organised before you come home
Jemma said: “When you repack on holiday [before coming home], the trick is to separate clean from dirty clothes.
“Also pack it in some form of order – so lights, darks, colours for items that need washing, or if you wash your clothes by person in the household, piles for each person.
“Then you can put it straight into the washing machine. Do it straight away, don’t leave it.”
Not only is it suitable for EasyJet flights, but it’s also only £6 too.
Earlier this year, bargain hunters went wild for the purse-friendly bag, which is one of the most affordable travel bags yet.
The Foldaway Weekender Bag is available in five gorgeous colours – black, burgundy, khaki, light blue and leopard print – so you’re sure to find a style that suits you, without needing to break the bank.

RUBY WALSH joked his local area was turned into Notting Kill after winning the Grand National.
The 45-year-old won at Aintree on Papillon in 2000 when he was just 20 years of age.
Ruby Walsh won the Aintree Grand National in 2000News Group Newspapers LtdHe revealed an element of the celebrations that left his dad in stitches
Remembering the final charge to the line, the Kildare man admitted it made for an interminable run.
He said: “You knew going by the water that he was going to win.
“It was only 50 yards or whatever it is, but it felt like ages that you were here but you wanted to be there and through the line.
“I couldn’t believe it. I never expected to win a Grand National so I wasn’t thinking, this is how you would feel or this is a lifetime of work – I was only 20 – or this was something else.
“It was disbelief, I couldn’t believe we had won the National.”
In the 25 years since, Walsh added to his CV with countless landmark victories, including two Gold Cups among 59 total winners at Cheltenham.
But even now, he struggled to put that Grand National win into words.
He added: “I have never been able to verbalize those emotions. Unfortunately, you will have to feel them to understand them.
“What’s Rachael Blackmore‘s famous line? I don’t feel male or female. I don’t even feel human.
“You are trying to get somebody to verbalize something that they don’t know how to verbalize because they don’t know how it feels.
“I never expected it. I couldn’t believe it but it had happened and I guess there is a small part of you hoping you aren’t going to wake up.
“I would want to go back to the start of the race but I wouldn’t want it to end when we crossed the line.
“I wouldn’t want the experience to end until the following Tuesday.”
What he was able to put into words, however, were the celebrations that followed the win at Aintree.
After initial buoyance in the UK, the Walsh family travelled back to their native Kill, where the partying only intensified.
Ruby illustrated this with an anecdote that left his dad in fits of laughter.
He explained: “It was just people lining the floor in here. It was just full of bodies.
“All friends of mine or Ted’s or Jennifer’s or Katie’s.
“There is an old drinks cabinet in the corner there and there were three lads lying on the floor having Tia Maria and milk for their breakfast on the Sunday morning.
“Then Sky turning up to the front of the house and Kevin O’Ryan in his boxer shorts answering the door. It was like Notting Hill in Kill!
“The craic that day and into the following day. Into the shop, front of the paper, every Sunday paper.
“It wasn’t like now, will the Grand National make the front page for the right reason.
“Here in Ireland, a horse winning the Grand National made the front of the paper for the achievement.”
