The latest bun flavours to enter the market are White Chocolate paired with Raspberry and Banoffee.

An excited shopper spotted the bargain deal and posted on the popular Facebook channel Extreme Couponing and Bargains.

They wrote in the post: “Banoffee and White Chocolate Raspberry Hot Cross Buns From Aldi! They Were Just Under £1!!”

Fellow shoppers flock to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One person wrote: “These are yummy.”

Another shopper said: “Raspberry and white chocolate are delicious.”

A third user shared: “The raspberry and white chocolate are to die for.”

It comes after shoppers flocked to Aldi to uncover three new mystery flavours of hot cross buns launched for Easter.

Aldi has dropped three new flavoured hot cross buns, which they are releasing over the next three weeks.

The first is already available in stores and online and has left shoppers guessing.

A second new flavour was released on March 27, with the third mysterious bun dropping on April 3.

Each bun is made by Aldi’s Village Bakery, with two treats coming in each pack.

Aldi described the interesting guessing game as a first-of-its-kind “guess the hot cross bun flavour” competition as the store gears up for Easter.

Three lucky shoppers will also win £1,000 if they can manage to guess the mystery hot cross bun flavours correctly.

The cash will be handed out as Aldi vouchers per flavour.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “We know how much our shoppers love hot cross buns, so we wanted to create something fun and exciting for them this Easter.

“Our buying team has created some truly unique flavours that will challenge even the most seasoned taste buds.

“We can’t wait to see if our shoppers can crack the mystery flavours. Good luck!”

Further details and all the terms and conditions can be found on the official Guess the Flavour web page.

Shoppers have until 11:59pm on April, 6, to enter and win the challenge.

They can submit their flavour guess by emailing guesstheflavour@aldi.co.uk.

Meanwhile, Marks & Spencer shoppers are raving about a new flavour of hot cross bun, which has a bizarre filling.

The supermarket giant sells 32 buns a second during Easter week, with a whole array of flavours ranging from apple and blueberry to chocolate and cheese.

And with the big day just around the corner, the brand has prepared a new flavour for Brits to enjoy.

But it comes with a very bizarre filling.

The latest bun to the market is a Dippy Egg filled Hot Cross Bun, which the supermarket says has an extremely “oozy gooey” centre.

Drawing inspiration from a dippy egg, the chocolatey bun is filled with a smooth yellow and white chocolate centre.

How to save money on chocolate

WE all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…

Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.

Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
