Emmerdale villain dramatically quits the village just three months after returning in controversial plot
EMMERDALE villain Joe Tate has quit the village for a new life in Dubai after his sick organ transplant plot.
The millionaire schemer – who is played by actor Ned Porteous in the ITV soap – is recovering after orchestrating an organ theft from his own uncle Caleb.

With Caleb recovering and none the wiser that his ordeal was orchestrated by Joe and that he’d had his kidney removed, Joe decided that he needed to end the police investigation.
In a video he was seen speaking to Caleb in the hospital, claiming he was in Chicago on a business trip.
In reality Joe was still in the private clinic where he revealed his true plans.
Crowley told him that Sean had been released by the police and promptly put on a flight to Thailand to ensure the investigation was stalled.
He then told him: “My plane’s on standby.”
The doctor warned: “You’ve just had an operation, you shouldn’t be travelling for months. And not without trained medical staff.”
Joe replied: “I’m well aware of the risks and I’ve got medics waiting for me when I land in Dubai.”
With that Crowley said goodbye and Joe said: “Me too. It’s time to move on.”
Meanwhile at Home Farm, Dawn was struggling after Joe ghosted her, having realised she’d fallen in love with him.
Sitting in the back of a car Joe scrolled through his phone.
Coming to Dawn’s name, he clicked on it and swiftly deleted her before casting it aside.
“Let’s go,” he said to the driver as he was driven to his waiting plane.
But is Joe gone for good or will he be back to cause more chaos in the village?
