Married teacher Christina Formella, 30, who ‘had sex with pupil, 15’ claims she was accused as she is ‘too good looking’

A MARRIED teacher arrested for the alleged sexual abuse of her 15-year-old student has claimed to police “everybody” targets her over her good looks.

Christina Formella, 30, is accused of molesting the teen after his mom discovered shocking sexual messages on his phone, prosecutors claim.

Charges placed against her include two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and one count of criminal sexual assault.

Formella denies the allegations and insists she has never had sex with the boy, according to a court petition.

Shocking footage recently released shows the moment she was arrested in front of her baffled husband and the moment she cries in the back of a cop car after being informed of her charges.

At the police station, she was questioned over the serious allegations.

During the interview, she pleaded her innocence and claimed to police she is a “good person” but “everybody” targets her because of her looks, according to documents obtained by WGN9.

Formella also argued that the she is the victim of a “blackmail” plot, according to court docs.

“She claimed that one day, [the boy] had grabbed her phone unattended, had entered her passcode… had sent the message to his phone, had then deleted the message from her phone, and had saved it to his phone as blackmail,” the documents read.

Messages revealed that she allegedly told the victim, “I love having sex with you,” back in 2023 when she was 28, court docs show.

The boy is said to have responded with: “I know baby I love it so much… It feels so good… It’s so passionate… It’s so intimate… It’s so perfect… I love you so so much mama.”

The messages were reportedly discovered last month by the victim’s mom after she bought him a new phone and linked it to his iCloud account.

Cops claim the abuse happened in a classroom before the school day started back in December 2023.

Formella insisted to police that she “cared too much about” the 15-year-old boy that she was teaching and coaching in soccer, according to documents obtained by WGN9.

The relationship continued until the student broke it off, according to prosecutors.

When the messages were discovered, the mother took her son to Downers Grove police station and reported the alleged abuse.

Formella was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and one count of criminal sexual assault.

Shocking footage shows the moment Formella was arrested in Chicago, Illinois, while parking outside her home and getting out of the car next to her partner.

Formella, in a black hoodie and jeans, raises her hands in the air as the officer informs her of the arrest before placing her in handcuffs.

Her husband — her high school sweetheart who she married in 2025 — appears to be confused by the arrest, not knowing the allegations against his wife.

Footage shows the teacher in the back of a police car as she begins to ask questions.

“Excuse me, is my husband coming with?” Formella asks.

Formella then pleads with the police to let her see him: “I really would prefer that my husband is with me.”

During the journey to the local station, Formella appears increasingly nervous.

She first asks: “Am I in trouble?”

Formella claims to be “so lost” over why she has been placed in cuffs.

Separate footage captures the moment she places her hands over her face and breaks down in tears, as she is taken back to the police car after the initial talks with investigators.

She can be heard saying: “I feel like I’m gonna throw up.”

The teacher has since been released on the condition that she does not enter the school grounds or have contact with anybody under 18.

She has also been placed on paid leave from her job at Downers Grove High, where she had been teaching since 2020, according to her LinkedIn.

Formella’s next court appearance is scheduled for April 14.

‘We have to move’ – Championship club could be left without a stadium as EFL deadline looms

OXFORD UNITED’s chief executive Tim Williams has warned the club is in danger of being homeless after plans stalled for a new ground.

The Championship side’s lease on the Kassam Stadium expires in June 2026.

The club have submitted plans for a new 16,000-seater ground[/caption]

Oxford were promoted to the second tier last season for the first time since 1999.

The U’s have more than held their own this term and currently sit 19th, two points above the drop zone.

CEO Williams admits the club are currently in limbo in regards to a new home – and will soon need to inform the EFL where they intend to play from next summer.

Oxford have submitted plans for a new 16,000-seater stadium to Cherwell District Council.

A decision on the plot, located just outside the city, was delayed in February as the council requested more time to review the application.

Williams told The Dub podcast: “There is nothing more important – and I mean literally nothing more important.

“We don’t have a stadium to be in if this doesn’t work out.

“I don’t particularly like binary decisions. But this really is that binary.

BEST ONLINE CASINOS – TOP SITES IN THE UK

“We are in a position where we have to move. This actually isn’t now about moving into a stadium that will allow us to generate more revenue. This is about getting into a stadium.

“Fundamentally, if we don’t have a stadium, we don’t have a football club. It’s appallingly as binary as that.”

Williams added that extending the club’s licence at the Kassam was his favoured option in the short term.

And he was also keen to avoid any possibility of a groundshare.

He continued: “I think for everybody involved, none more so than fans and supporters, the path of least resistance would be to see if we can stay where we are for the couple of years that we need to.

“I don’t particularly want to groundshare anywhere, that’s not a particularly good option – that’s an understatement.

“So, for me, the most attractive option is to stay where we are, assuming that we can.”

Oxford East MP Anneliese Dodds last month claimed the club should be allowed to move.

The club are now awaiting a decision from the council, which is expected in June at the earliest.

Second Geordie Shore legend QUITS hit MTV series – just weeks after Scotty T axe

A SECOND legendary GEORGIE Shore cast member has quit the series – just weeks after Scotty T was axed.

The Sun can reveal that Sophie Kasaei, 35, won’t be back for the next series, which begins filming next month, after contract talks broke down.

An insider tells us: “Sophie has been in negotiations with show bosses for weeks now, but they can’t agree on the terms of her next contract.

“Sophie doesn’t really want to leave, but she feels she feels like she brings a lot to the show and has been there a long time, so she wanted her new contract to reflect that.

“Sadly, an agreement couldn’t be reached, and while there could always be a last minute bid to keep her from MTV, as it stands right now, Sophie is walking away.”

Sophie, who joined ITVBe reality show The Only Way Is Essex in 2023, also has her hands full with a number of other projects.

They continued: “She’s sad about it, because the show has been a huge part of her life, but she has lots of other things going on – she’s a regular on TOWIE, she’s focusing on starting a family with her boyfriend Jordan and she has a radio show and lots of brand deals so she won’t be short of work.”

Sophie’s shock exit will come as a major blow to her fellow co-stars – including viewers of the much-loved show.

“It’s a blow for the show though as lots of the long standing cast members have departed, from Charlotte to Scotty T, and every time a much-loved Geordie departs, the show loses a bit of that magic that has allowed it to run for all these years,” they added.

Sophie has been a long-running cast member since 2011 to now, with breaks in-between.

The Sun have reached out to Paramount+ and Sophie’s rep for comment.

It comes just a week after The Sun revealed Scotty T has been axed from the series after his recent driving ban and cocaine scandal.

The reality star, 36, who returned to the Paramount+ series last year, pleaded guilty last month to two counts of driving with a controlled drug, which was above the specified limit.

Scotty was fined £330 and banned from driving for a full year.

Despite his big Geordie Shore return after two years away from the show, bosses have made the decision to drop him from the new series.

A source told The Sun: “Scotty T will not be back for the next series of Geordie Shore, which starts filming later this spring.

“While the Geordie Shore cast have never been expected to be squeaky clean, bosses couldn’t stand by his recent off screen antics.

“At the end of the day, it’s not a good look for the show or MTV if they endorse cast members who drive whilst under the influence of illegal drugs.”

They added: “They had no choice but to not ask him back for the next run. If he cleans up his act, there is always the chance he could return in the future, but right now, the show is moving forward without him.”

Back in 2019 Scotty opened up to The Sun about his battle with drugs.

He booked himself into a rehab centre facility in 2017 and spent two weeks getting clean.

Elsewhere, original member Gaz Beadle, 37, is close to a sensational return and now just needs to put pen to paper – eight years after he quit.

A source said: “Gaz in talks to return after Scotty was dropped. He still has to sign on the dotted line but it’s looking very promising.

“He almost returned a couple of years ago and everything was all lined up, but then timings didn’t quite work out. This time around, it’s full steam ahead.”

UK’s worst motorway revealed as dreaded & ‘aggressive’ 117-mile road 200,000 drivers use EVERY day

NEARLY half of voters have agreed on the worst motorway in the UK – unsurprisingly in the capital.

The M25 has been crowned the UK’s most hated motorway by 40 per cent of drivers from a survey of 14,000 by AA.

M25 motorway traffic jam.
PA:Press Association
Thousands of drivers in traffic jam on the M25[/caption]

It holds this title 12 years later, when the last poll was last conducted by the motoring organisation, with disdain from Britons even increasing towards it.

In 2013, 30% of respondents ranked the M25 at the bottom.

The 117-mile-long ring road, also known as the London Orbital Motorway, sees around 200,000 vehicles on its roads each day, making it the busiest motorway in the UK.

Head of roads policy at AA, Jack Cousens, said: “The M25 is notorious for its heavy traffic and frequent delays.

“As one of the busiest stretches of motorway in the country, it is no surprise that drivers find it frustrating.”

Beyond the heavy congestion, respondents also cited the “aggressive drivers changing several lanes impulsively, at speed, without indicating”, noise, and poor surface of the motorway.

Nine of the top ten worst ranked motorways contain ‘smart’ sections of road which have been converted in recent years.

With the purpose of using technology to manage traffic flow by employing varying speed limits and extra lanes, smart motorways instead often caused further stress for drivers, as well as long periods of roadworks.

Another respondent to the AA survey said: “Any smart motorway scares me.

“I count the miles until the end and heave a sigh of relief.”

Another survey recently done by the AA found a third of drivers feel significantly less safe on smart motoways than they did three years ago.

Following the M25 at the bottom of the ranks was the M6, from 21 per cent of respondents, then the M1 by 13 per cent.

The findings of this AA survey come just weeks after National Highways published its fourth Stocktake report on the safety of “smart” motorways.

It revealed a third of radar detection schemes which were tested failed to meet the standard requirement.

On a stretch of the M62, between J10 and J12, the motorway incident detection software was out of service for 28 days last August.

National Highways was forced to lower the speed limit for almost nien miles of the M62 until it was fixed.

As a result, there was an “unplanned” loss of safety through the “software fault” and it was unable to accurately use automated signalling software to detect broken down cars.

10 motorways ranked the worst by percentage of drivers

1. M25: 40%

2. M6: 21%

3. M1: 13%

4. M5: 5%

5. M62: 4%

6. M4: 3%

7. M42: 2%

8. M60: 1%

9. M8: 1%

10. M27: 1%

Meghan Markle ‘used sneaky trick’ to make sure her pricey food brand sold out in minutes

MEGHAN Markle used a sneaky “ploy” to make sure her pricey food brand sold out in minutes, a source claimed.

The Duchess, 43, finally launched her highly anticipated As Ever items, from £11 jars of jam to £22 limited edition honey.

The mum-of-two has been promoting her brand alongside her Netflix show With Love, Meghan[/caption]

Within half-an-hour the range was out of stock, prompting Meghan to post on Instagram: “Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full!”

Fans snapped up the £11 raspberry preserve, which is marketed as a “luscious fruit-forward spread” in “elegant keepsake packaging”.

Shoppers also rushed to nab £9 teas, including lemon ginger, peppermint and hibiscus.

Theses were sold out alongside £12 flower sprinkles – promoted in endless shots throughout her Netflix show With Love, Meghan.

Meanwhile, the mum-of-two’s £11 shortbread and crepe mixes were also unavailable in less than an hour.

But a source said: “This is simply a marketing ploy.

“You make a relatively small amount available so it all gets bought and then you can say it’s so popular it sold out.”

It comes after the former Suits actress gave an interview from her £12million Montecito mansion to accompany the launch.

She invited a food writer from The New York Times into her home.

Prince Harry’s wife is said to be “clearly bothered” by critics who slammed her for being “out of touch”.

Meghan tried to shrug off the comments and said: “Don’t they know my life hasn’t always been like this?”

In an attempt to show she is down to earth, she reminded fans how she sometimes gives Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, frozen food like “tater tots”.

The New York Times journalist later wrote: “Meghan is upbeat and charming and always on-message when fielding questions from a reporter.

“But she is clearly bothered by accusations that she is unrelatable and out of touch.

“She may be living in a fairytale, but not all that long ago, she was a not-very-famous actress on a medium-popular TV series.

“She was divorced, in her mid 30s and unsure where her next job or home would be.

“Don’t they know my life hasn’t always been like this? she said, gesturing at the sweeping views and sleeping dogs.”

Meghan has been teasing her sweet preserves for over a year after initially launching American Orchard Riviera.

She originally sent 50 jars of the jam to influencer friends and family, alongside some homemade dog treats.

But the former Suits actress was forced to roll out her rebrand, As Ever, in February after being hit by a string of set backs.

Her jams also featured in her eight-part Netflix docuseries With Love, Meghan, as she entertained Hollywood pals and celeb chefs.

The mum-of-two’s business will also likely feature in her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.

Episodes, which offer advice and tales from women entrepreneurs, will air on April 8.

Meghan previously announced the As Ever drop in a newsletter, and informed shoppers the jam would arrive in “keepsake packaging”.

She wrote: “Ever since I can remember, I’ve been dreaming up easy ways to elevate the everyday into the exceptional.

“I always knew that I wanted to turn these ideas into something real, and to make beautiful items that spark connection and celebrate quiet, meaningful moments.

“Of course, you’ll find the raspberry spread that started it all, presented in keepsake packaging that you can repurpose to tuck away love notes or special treasures, and to remember this pivotal moment with me.

“Think of it as our time capsule.”

Meghan added: “And by the way, once you’ve enjoyed every spoonful of this fruit spread, you may want to do what I do: rinse the jar and use it as a small bud vase for flowers on your nightstand, or to hold your pens on your desk.”

The Duchess also encouraged her followers to follow their inner “value, creativity and joy”.

“You are you – As ever, and for ever,” she continued.

In a further inspirational comment, the Netflix star said “the biggest risk you can take is deciding not to take one at all”.

She once again emphasised the main point highlighted in her show – to “make the everyday exceptional”.

It is understood Ever products will likely be sold in Netflix Home stores.

The streaming giant revealed the first would be branches in Dallas and Pennsylvania.

This comes as Meghan hasalso released her own shopping page where fans can “buy her wardrobe” as her latest money-making venture.

She revealed she now has a “ShopMy” page featuring “a hand-picked and curated collection of the things I love — I hope you enjoy them”.

They include Heidi Merrick’s “Windsor” gown for an eye-watering £1,068, a £600 pair of Saint Laurent sandals, a £400 necklace and a £148 linen shirt.

All the clothes and accessories listed have links for followers to click and buy, and Meghan may get money when they do.

A disclaimer says: “Please note, some products may contain commissionable links!”

The Duchess’ team was contacted for comment.

Hypocrite Meghan Markle is having MAJOR identity crisis & it’s a money drive, claims expert

By Becky Pemberton

MEGHAN Markle has been criticised for having a “major” identity crisis after launching her new shopping page for her clothes and make-up.

This week, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a link to a “hand-picked collection of clothes she loves” for commission, which included a £1,068 dress.

The news was posted from her As Ever brand with a rare snap with Archie, five, and Lilibet, three – and experts have said she was shamelessly using her kids.

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, News.com.au’s Royal Reporter Bronte Coy said: “There’s this real identity crisis. It’s like, who is she?

“She didn’t want the kids to be on display in the royal family, which I think a lot of parents understand to a point.

“But then she’s launched the Instagram, and she’s using the kids, which, again, is her prerogative, but it just kind of falls out of step with what she said previously.”

Bronte also pointed out how Meghan is using her monogram logo with the crown on it for her business ventures.

The royal expert continued: “She’s kind of an influencer. She has the right to earn money.

“But it just looks a bit jarring, having the royal stamp on it.

“So, yeah, I just see it all as a bit of an identity crisis.”

The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson pointed out that some people have branded it “tacky” for Meghan to use photos of her kids to make money.

Legendary Sun photographer Arthur Edwards said: I mean, they’re just looking for more and more ways to make lots of money.

“It’s probably tacky here, but in America, it’s not probably the same.

“In America, it’s all money-driven, everything.

“But here, we probably think it’s a bit tacky and probably don’t think it’s the right thing to do.

But in America, if Meghan’s doing it, and they do well, probably some other film star will come along and do something similar.”

David Adeleye is the heavyweight tipped by Tyson Fury as Britain’s next star who wanted to be an ARCHITECT before boxing

DAVID ADELEYE is building back his heavyweight career – after leaving behind plans to be an ARCHITECT before boxing.

Adeleye first picked up the gloves at 12 but only three years later did he begin competing seriously as an amateur.

He has also sparred Anthony Joshua before[/caption]

He would later win national titles before turning professional in 2019 having also studied business management at the University of Wolverhampton.

And Adeleye, 28, told The Ring Magazine: “I wanted to be an architect when I was younger.

“I look at buildings and I’m intrigued about how they’re made, who made it, who came up with the ideas.

“You’ve got to have some sort of adventurous mind to be an architect. I think I’m an adventurous person and a creative person.”

Adeleye rushed to 12-0 and also became known as a sparring partner to the stars, including Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

The Londoner was such a regular in Fury’s Morecambe camp that he even got insured on one of the Gypsy King’s cars.

Fury also sung his praises, once saying: “David Adeleye is the future of this division.

“I told him the other night in the changing rooms, I said, ‘You’ve got believe in yourself Dave, because you’re going to take over the division, mate.’

“And he’s great sparring, very very good sparring. If he was no good to me, then I wouldn’t bring him into my training camps.”

Adeleye suffered his first defeat in October 2023 following a brutal knockout loss to Fabio Wardley.

But he bounced back with victory ten months later with an equally savage first-round stoppage of Solomon Dacres in December.

Adeleye won the English title that night and now fights for the British belt against ex-sparring partner Jeamie Tshikeva – looking to settle bad blood.

He said: “No judges needed. That W’s coming home with me and so is the British title.

“When I let these hands go, everyone knows about it. I’m an aggressive person. They’re all going to know about it. Trust me.”

Adeleye – who has 12 KOs in his 13 wins – graduated with a degree and even did a dissertation on the business aspect of boxing.

And he said: “I still kind of want to do [architecture], maybe.

“One of my teachers disheartened me by telling me how long the course was at university and it was a long process and whatnot.

“Maybe one day, you never know.”
