Rhi, a content creator from Wales took to social media to give her followers a close-up look inside an epic outlet store.

Rhi took a trip to the Matalan Clearance Store, in Newport, South Wales, where she spotted rails of affordable clothes, with prices starting from just 70p – yes, you heard that correctly.

Thrilled with her purse-friendly finds, Rhi beamed: “They’ve got 30% off everything in store at the moment and that’s on top of the already insane prices – look at all the shoes they’ve got.

“You can get absolute bargains, everything you need for your holidays here and they’ve even got loads of school shoes as well.”

Not only did Rhi spot sandals, swimwear and more, but she also found masses of kids’ clothes too.

She continued: “I just wanted to show a little bit of how big this place actually is, you can’t even tell that much from this video, but it is massive and there was so much stuff, so many different colours, everything you could possibly need.”

If that wasn’t enough, Rhi was also left impressed with the store’s interior items, with all things from cushions and mirrors, to vases and bedding.

Clearly overjoyed, she expressed: “They’ve got a massive homeware section as well, there’s really nice stuff there and they had bedding as low as £4 and then remember, 30% off on top.”

As she headed to the checkout, Rhi spotted children’s sliders and slippers for just 70p each, as she said: “Then you get to the till – look at these bargains, absolutely insane.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @rhi.life.xo, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 141,200 views in just two days.

Rhi’s video has also amassed 3,071 likes, 158 comments and a whopping 2,514 shares.

Social media users were gobsmacked by the huge selection of bargains and many eagerly flocked to the comments to express this.

It’s always discounted up to 70% off but they currently have 30% off those already discounted prices

Hottest fashion trends of 2025

Fabulous’ Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend shares the biggest trends from the high street.

The East/West Bag

Baguette bags have had a good run, after returning from the 1990s’ shoulders of Sarah Jessica Parker to modern-day fashion icons, like Hailey Bieber.

In 2025, the East/West bag is a similar but elongated shape and has long, thin straps that are easy to throw over your shoulder.

They’ve been on runway models’ arms at nearly ever designer show – think Burberry, Givenchy and Bottega Veneta – and are hitting the high street now, too.

Powder pink

Bright fuchsia pink had its day after the release of Barbie in 2023 and now the more polished and expensive-looking pale shade is taking over for 2025.

Pantone may say that it’s the year of Mocha Mousse, but the catwalks say otherwise! From Prada to Erdem, the subtle look was all over the spring/summer catwalks, worn head-to-toe or on its own.

If the sugary shade is too girly for you, then look to sharp suiting for a androgynous take on the colour.

The shell jacket

The ’80s classic is back, but with a sleek and minimal new twist for 2025.

We all know we’re likely to see rain for most of spring, so your practical coat of choice should be a cagoule jacket.

Depop revealed one of its big trend predictions for this year is retro sportswear, with surges already seen in ‘80s windbreakers’.

Seen everywhere from the stylish streets of Copenhagen to the Miu Miu catwalk, now mums who have an emergency raincoat crumpled underneath their pushchair are very much in fashion!

The turn-up jeans

While the shape of jeans remains the same for this year and barrel-legs will still be everywhere, the way we’re styling them is different.

This season, transform your wide-leg, baggy denims into turn-ups.

For this look, size doesn’t matter, so while deep turn-ups are a hit from jean trend-leaders Citizens of Humanity, a slight fold is still just as good – but only as it’s just one single fold.

Peep-toe shoe

Get your pedicures booked in sharpish, as this season your toes are the main event.

After a long hiatus, the peep-toe has been welcomed back into the fashion fold, with brands like Hermes, Miu Miu and Tory Burch showing plain and embellished footwear in this style.

From mules to pumps and clogs (yes, clogs will be around too!), there are lots of different styles that are set to sweep the high street.

Sheer blouses

See-through looks have always lived on the catwalk, but have rarely filtered into everyday life – until now.

Designers Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford loved sheer looks on their S/S ’25 catwalks and M&S even had sellout success with its black sheer pencil skirt last season.

Expect to see more sheer looks lining supermarket aisles and high street shops in the form of skirts, tops and frocks.

A third commented: “I was here the other day! Madness how cheap it is and even cheaper at the checkouts!!”

At the same time, someone else claimed: “I went yesterday got a bag full for £30.”

Madness how cheap it is and even cheaper at the checkouts!!

TikTok user

Whilst another begged: “Sshhh!!!! This is top secret.”

Meanwhile, one bargain hunter wondered: “Is it only discounted at certain times?”

To this, Rhi replied and confirmed: “No it’s always discounted up to 70% off but they currently have 30% off those already discounted prices.”

Danielle made sure to share up-to-date check ins with her fans over on Instagram.

The family-of-three started off their adventure in Clifton, Cape Town, where they got to visit their pals.

They then flew over to Johannesburg where they stayed in the “peaceful” Cradle Boutique Hotel, located within the Greater Cradle Nature Reserve.

Danielle gushed over the “beautiful wildlife” they passed on their way to the hotel.

While in Johannesburg, they visited the sweet kids at Blair Atholl Pre-Primary School, which is funded by Gary Player’s charity, the Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation.

Danielle posted clips of herself, Brian and their little one having fun with the children and said: “What a warm welcome we had! It was so beautiful to see so many children thriving here thanks to the work of @gvpfoundation @gary.player.

These children welcomed us with open arms and showed us so much love. I didn’t want to leave.

They performed some fabulous songs and dances for us. My personal favourites were Crazy Frog and Who Let The Dogs Out 👌🏼
Hopefully the golf and dinner event raised some more very important funds for this amazing place.

While on their trip, they climbed to the top of Table Mountain via cable carts and got to look at the breathtaking city views.

For the last part of their South African trip, they stayed in the four star hotel, Sun City Resort, which they said was the “most magical place”.

The family looked happier-than-ever as they spent quality time with one another while exploring the grounds.

Danielle added: “Our suite was unbelievable, I’ve never stayed anywhere so palatial. There was so much attention to detail and the service was incredible!

There was so much to do.”

While in Sun City, they did got to experience life at the safari as they watched “unreal” elephants and rhinos roaming around.

‘INSANE’

Danielle added: “I’m in awe of this place.”

The couple’s friends and fans all loved their holiday snaps and wished them well.

Rebecca said: “Wow this must of been so amazing.”

Helen commented: “So beautiful. How wonderful that you are able to reap the rewards of your work. Well deserved.”

Cristina remarked: “Absolutely breathtaking.”

Lisa added: “Looks insane!!”

The Sheffield-born actress has largely shunned fame since leaving the programme – but do you remember her character?

Chloe played Vicky McDonald – and was the second actress to take on the role.

A year prior to her joining, the role was briefly played by Helen Warbuton.

Vicky made her arrival in Weatherfield as the daughter of Alec Gilroy.

She soon wound up becoming the first wife of Steve McDonald – one of many.

Vicky was raised by Alec and Bet following her parent’s death where she inherited a huge £240,000 after turning 18.

Steve soon became to get rather happy with splashing Vicky’s cash and their marriage ended up crumbling soon after Christmas 1995 when he spent a fortune on stolen whiskey.

Vicky eventually went off to Brighton to run her very own wine bar.

In 1999, it ran into financial difficulty and she was forced to call on Bet for a loan in order to keep things afloat.

She soon after married a man named Martin with Bet revealing in 2002 that they were still happily married.

Vicky has seldom been mentioned since.

Off-screen, Chloe has shunned fame and lives a quiet family life with her children.

She is understood to still live in her hometown of Sheffield and shares snaps of her family life on Instagram.

The black dupe Savida dress features a similar square neckline and figure hugging shape.

The Skims dress sells on the official website for a whopping €114.

While the Savida dupe of this dress is for sale in Dunnes Stores for just €30.

Dunnes Stores said the dress is ideal for special occasions.

They said: “Cut to a comfortable, body-hugging fit, this Savida dress is designed with a flattering square neckline and long sleeves for extra coverage.

“Falling to a maxi length, it is perfect for special occasions all year round.”

Available in sizes XXS to XXL, the figure hugging dress is set to fly off the shelves.

The fashion retailer styled the dress with flat buckle shoes.

Meanwhile, a style fan revealed her everyday looks from Dunnes Stores that are comfortable but “not restrictive”.

Debbie, who posts under @stylemedeb, took to Instagram to rate some of the retailer’s latest jeans.

She said: “Out with the old, in with the new. Getting rid of lots of items from my wardrobe. I placed a large Dunnes order.”

The mum-of-four revealed the High Rise Wide Leg Raw Hem Jeans.

Debbie said: “First up are the jeans. They’re much darker than I thought, but I actually quite like the denim.

“So they are high rise, wide leg, €25, pretty good value.

“The colours are really nice, aren’t they?

“Again, jeans are something I really need because after clearing out all my old jeans – they just don’t do anything for my shape anymore.”

Dunnes Stores representatives said the jeans are a versatile choice.

They said: “These wide-leg jeans feature an unpicked hem and natural fading, giving them a well-worn look.

“The dark wash and classic five-pocket detailing make them a versatile choice, perfect for pairing with boots or heels for a polished finish.”

The classic jeans come in sizes 8 to 20 but many sizes have been snapped up online.

THE HISTORY OF DUNNES STORES

DUNNES Stores opened its first store on Patrick Street in Cork in 1944 - and it was an instant hit.

Shoppers from all over the city rushed to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices in Ireland’s first ‘shopping frenzy’.

During the excitement, a window was forced in and the police had to be called to help control the crowds hoping to bag founder Ben Dunne’s ‘Better Value’ bargains.

Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began to sell groceries in 1960 – starting with apples and oranges.

The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunne yet again offered Better Value than anyone else in town.

“Over time, our food selection has grown and that spirit of good value has remained strong.

“Now we offer a wide range of carefully-sourced foods from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”

The retailer’s first Dublin store opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street and a super store on South Great Georges Street was unveiled in 1960.

They added: “In 1971, our first Northern Irish store opened, and many others soon followed.

“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain, and later into Scotland and England.”

Dunnes now has 142 stores and employs 15,000 people.

PGA Tour star predicts pitch perfect Masters preparation for Rory McIlroy ahead of Texas Children’s Houston Open

THE PGA Tour hit the The Lone Star State this week for the penultimate tournament ahead of the 2025 Masters.

Rory McIlroy will tee it up at the Texas Children’s Houston Open as the part of his final preparations for next month’s Masters.

McIlroy only added the event to his schedule last week – it will be his last tournament ahead of the season’s opening major

The Holywood hotshot only added the event to his schedule last week as he wanted to play one event before the first major of the year.

The four-time major winner is desperate for the green jacket as he aims to complete the Masters Grand Slam.

And fellow PGA Tour pro Billy Horschel believes this week’s course at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston couldn’t be better for McIlroy’s preparation as he dreams of ending his 11-year wait for a fifth major.

The Northern Irishman has had a stellar season to date after winning The Players Championship and the Pebble Beach PRO AM.

Down native McIlroy hasn’t play this PGA Tour event since 2014, and now he’ll play in the field alongside world number one Scottie Scheffler.

Speaking on the Sky Sports Golf podcast, said the setup at Memorial Park plays right into McIlroy’s strengths.

He said: “It’s a perfectly designed golf course for Rory.

“When Rory was talking to me about it when we were discussing schedules at the end of last year, early this year, and he mentioned playing Houston, I said to him, ‘man, that course is right up your alley.’”

“There’s a distance bias there. There’s a lot of holes where he can hit that nice, big, drawing driver. I’d suspect Rory has a very good chance to win.

“I know Scottie Scheffler’s in the field, but with the way Rory’s been playing this year, it wouldn’t shock me if he went on to win this week.”

Horschel added that the course’s green complexes will offer a solid warm-up for what lies ahead at Augusta.

The American pipped McIlroy to last season’s BMW Championship at Wentworth, and is well aware of the Northern Irishman’s skillset.

He added: “The greens are big and have some slope in them. Chipping around them and hitting shots into raised areas sort of gets you ready for Augusta a little bit.

“It’s a good test, and if Rory wins, I wouldn’t be surprised at all.”

McIlroy, 35, visited Augusta National on Tuesday before jetting to Houston for this week’s tournament.

The Houston Open runs from March 27–30, and with McIlroy and Scheffler headlining the field, all the action is live on Sky Sports Golf from Thursday.

‘Of course, it’s difficult’ – Ben Chilwell opens up on being bombed out by Chelsea before Crystal Palace lifeline

BEN CHILWELL refused to let membership of Chelsea’s ‘bomb squad’ drag him down.

The defender was frozen out completely by boss Enzo Maresca this season but kept his head up high in order to secure a move away.

Full-back Chilwell is now on loan at Crystal Palace and one win away from Wembley in the FA Cup semi finals – a huge turnaround from the dark days in isolation at Stamford Bridge.

Chilwell said to ITV: “Between the start of the season and January I was training by myself a lot of the days.

“You’re not involved in the matchday squads and you kind of just wait for the opportunity when you’re going to go somewhere.

“If you go somewhere in January and you’re miles off the pace or you’ve not put the work in, the only person that’s losing out is you.

“Of course, it’s difficult. Training by yourself a lot for a number of months isn’t easy. But the only person that was going to lose out if I wasn’t ready was myself.

“So these past four or five months have given me an opportunity to mentally and physically just realign, refocus, reset. To go again.

“There were a lot of circumstances and things going on at Chelsea that weren’t in my control, which I completely respect.

“The things I could control was how I came into training every day and how I trained, whether by myself or with the group.

“That’s just a reflection of myself and I wasn’t going to let myself down in those moments you can control you just control as best as you can.”

Maresca bluntly told Chilwell that he simply did not fit into his tactical plans. It was nothing personal but it will have hurt.

Chilwell, 28, is big on the mental side of professional sports and kept his chin up, finally bagging a loan move to Palace in January.

Whether or not a permanent deal is struck at the end of the season, there is no way back for him at Chelsea while Maresca is manager.

He held a Zoom call with Eagles boss Oliver Glasner about a temporary switch and knew straightaway he fancied moving to South London for a fresh start.

Chilwell has played five times at Wembley at club level. With only one win so far.

The Champions League winning left-back made his Palace debut as a sub in the FA Cup fourth round win over Doncaster Rovers. He has featured in the two rounds since.

The fifth round win over Millwall was overshadowed by serious injury to Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, who needed 25 stitches to a cut ear after a collision with keeper Liam Roberts.

The Frenchman is declared fit to play at Fulham on Saturday and Chilwell says it is a huge boost both physically and mentally.

He said: “He’s the glue of the place. He’s the loudest one in the changing room. The loudest one around here. You need a few of those don’t you?

“You need those characters around the place always cracking jokes making people laugh. They’re the loudest ones when their team loses or their team wins.

“They’re the most important figures in the changing room, so it’s definitely noticeable when he’s not in the building. Having him back this weekend will be a massive boost.

“Before coming here I knew a lot of the players previously through the national team, through playing against them in the league. It seemed a pretty easy choice. I spoke to the manager also.

“We had a talk over Zoom and kind of agreed on lots of lots of different things. So I think with the manager and the people that I knew here previously It was a pretty easy decision to come.”
