THE son of Snow White producer Marc Platt has branded the film’s lead actress Rachel Zegler “narcissistic” in a furious online exchange.

Actor Jonah Platt, 38, defended his dad after an article in Variety revealed the producer flew across the country to confront Zegler, 23, over political social media posts she’d made that film bosses felt were harmful to their picture.

An Instagram user commented on one of Jonah’s posts, “Any words on this? Cuz that’s creepy as hell and uncalled for. People have the right to free speech no? Shame on your father.”

In a now-deleted response, Being Jewish podcast host Jonah hit back, “You really want to do this?

“Yeah, my dad, the producer of the enormous piece of Disney IP with hundreds of millions of dollars on the line, had to leave his family to fly across the country to reprimand his 20-year-old employee for dragging her personal politics into the middle of promoting the movie for which she signed a multi-million dollar contract to get paid and do publicly for.”

He continued, “Free speech does not mean you’re allowed to say whatever you want in your private employment without repercussions.

“Tens of thousands of people worked on that film and she hijacked the conversation for her own immature desires at the risk of the colleagues and crew and blue collar workers who depend on that movie to be successful.”

In a stinging final rebuke, he said, “Narcissism is not something to be coddled or encouraged.”

Producer Marc, 67, who has an estimated net worth of $50m, is reported to have taken issue with political posts Zegler made on X.

In one, after thanking fans for their support of Snow White, she added, “And always remember, free Palestine.”

She previously criticised President Trump following his election win last year, writing, “F**k Donald Trump” and “May Trump supporters… never know peace.”

The $240m remake of the 1937 Disney classic has been universally panned by critics, who have branded it a woke mess.

Zegler, who plays Snow White, shocked Disney fans ahead of the live-action release by attacking the original version.

She said Prince Charming acted like a “stalker” and refused to sing the iconic Someday My Prince Will Come because she felt it was “weird”.

She added: “I was scared of the original version.

“I think I watched it once and never picked it up again.”

Disney bosses have been criticised for using CGI dwarves instead of casting real actors.

Game Of Thrones star Peter ­Dinklage slammed them for even “making that f***ing backwards story about seven dwarves living in a cave together”.

So far the film has recouped just $87million of its production costs at the box office.

At its LA premiere Platt stood between Zegler and co-star Gal Gadot, who plays, the Evil Queen.

The pair are said to have a frosty relationship behind the scenes and have no contact when cameras aren’t around.

DWTS finalist Kayleigh Trappe has shared her hysterical karaoke fail and joked: “This is why I lipsync.”

The Irish TikTok sensation was amongst the final four contestants competing to lift the coveted Dancing With The Stars Glitterball trophy on Sunday, March 16.

However she missed out on the big win when Irish Olympian Rhys McClenaghan and his professional partner Laura Nolan received the winning vote.

After the intense final, Kayleigh and her fellow DWTS pal Jack Woolley decided to jet off to Tenerife with their partners to unwind in the sun.

The four pals have been sharing stunning snippets of their sun-soaked holiday so far over on Instagram.

However, a recent video of Kayleigh and Jack doing karaoke in a bar has sent fans into stitches of laughter.

The social media star uploaded the clip to her page with the caption: “This is why I lipsync. Cover your ears.”

In the video, Kayleigh and Jack had their arms wrapped around each other as they belted out Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears while standing on a small stage.

The funny friends sang their hearts out to a small crowd of people sitting in the bar.

At one stage, Kayleigh jumped down from the stage and began to walk into the crowd, with Jack quickly following suit.

The pair continued to perform a shaky rendition of the hit tune all while showing off their best dance moves.

In her final few moments, Kayleigh started to do a brilliant impression of Britney’s voice, causing the bar to erupt into laughter.

Of course, fans all raced to the comment section to laugh over the star’s hilarious moment.

Ireland AM star, Elaine Crowley wrote: “Sweet Jesus!!”

Laura said: “Jesus ye’d clear a cemetery.”

Chris added: “Not a note in your head.”

And Breda laughed: “My ears are bleeding!!”

Meanwhile, Kayleigh recently revealed how taking part in Dancing With The Stars has helped her overcome “body issues”.

The 29-year-old said the RTE show has given her a chance to be herself overcome her phobias and follow her dreams of acting and presenting.

Kayleigh told The Irish Sun: “When I was younger I had a diary. I was reading it recently where I had written how I wanted to be a performer but that was never going to happen as I’m too fat and ugly.

“But I’m going to leave this show with more confidence and support myself more. I have the routines to thank for that.”

The Monaghan woman, who became famous when her TikTok videos lip syncing Irish celebs went viral, revealed how doing DWTS finally meant she had to be herself.

She said: “I made a career out of being in character, putting on wigs and never being myself.”

“When I’m told to be myself my confidence just goes and that comes back to a history of body confidence issues.

“But in week five something changed and  since then my dance pro partner Ervinas (Merfeldas) said how much freer I am about letting go where before I was very hesitant with things.

“Although it was a difficult part of the journey, it was the best part as well.”
