Shoppers run to The Range for ‘the most gorgeous’ £17 lamp that’s the perfect dupe for £78 posh version
INTERIOR fans have been racing to The Range to pick up the “most gorgeous” homeware dupe after spotting it in store.
The retail giant is currently selling a cream bouclé effect table lamp for just £16.99.

And eagle-eyed bargain hunters have noticed it looks very similar to a much more expensive version.
The Oliver Bonas Alma white bouclé desk and table light is priced at £78, and features a very similar bouclé design.
The two lamps are also exactly the same dimensions, on top of their near-indentical overall look.
The only difference? A cool £61.01.
The Range showcased the lamp on its official Instagram account, captioning the post: “BOUCLE LAMP OF DREAMS. Our £16.99 Cream Bouclé Effect Table Lamp – it’s a NEED, not a want!”
The chic lamp features a cream boucle fabric shade paired with a textured ceramic base, blending contemporary design with affordability.
Describing it on the website, The Range team added: “The Cream Boucle Effect Table Lamp brings a cosy touch to your space.
“Simple and understated, this charming lamp enhances any room with its unique design.
“Perfect for bedrooms and living rooms, this fabric table lamp illuminates your home in style and makes a statement.”
And shoppers are already going wild for it.
Showing it off in her living room, one Scots mum hailed it the “most stunning” lamp.
She added: “Can you believe this bouclé lamp was only £16.99?
“When I seen this bargain lamp dupe was back in stock – I RAN to the checkout.
“It’s the most gorgeous texture and I love how it looks in the living room. So good for only £16.99 vs £78 on Oliver Bonas.”
Another satisfied customer said: “I bought this yesterday! I love it x.”
And a third gushed: “Love it.”
But some cleaning fanatics have pointed out a major issue with the stylish homeware dupe.
“Oh hell no, dust magnet”, one wrote.
Meanwhile, a second echoed: “All I can think about is the dust it will collect and how grey it will go but it is beautiful.”
The bouclé trend, characterised by its soft, looped yarn texture, has been making waves in interior design, adding warmth and sophistication to living spaces.
The material has been very popular on chairs and rugs over the past few years.
But the hot trend has since been spotted on other items – including a “cute” pink bow stool that The Range shoppers have insisted would be perfect for a dressing table.
Hottest home trends for 2025
Renovations expert Andy Simms, from MyBuilder.com revealed the hottest interior design trends for this year.
COLOUR DRENCHING
Colour drenching involves using your colour across walls and ceilings to maximise the impact and create the illusion of a bigger space – doors, radiators, and even furniture won’t escape the paint job if you want the full effect. Brown, terracotta, beige – once the preserve of the 70s, earthy colours have been slowly gaining popularity. Similarly, bold greens and blues are also making a return, with the intention of colour drenching rooms.
STATEMENT WALLPAPER
Wallpaper divides designers, with some loving it and others preferring painted walls. 2025 will see a resurgence of wallpaper, and the bolder the better. For small spaces, such as downstairs loos or studies, choose a bold print and ignore any concerns about making the space look smaller. For larger spaces, consider a stunning mural theme.
BROKEN LIVING PLAN
Open plan living has been popular for over a decade now, but while it hasn’t quite had its day, many are returning to smaller, functional spaces – with a twist. “Broken plan” is when a bigger space is cut into various parts using screens, archways, crittal-style windows and doors or textured glass.

Patrick Kielty’s wife Cat Deeley rocks the perfect spring shirt from Zara – and it costs just €45
CAT Deeley has returned to screens in a trendy spring shirt – and it’s a total bargain.
The Birmingham beauty stepped out to host This Morning in another chic TV look — and you can get your hands on it for less than €50.

Cat modelled the classy look on her Instagram story before going live on air in the ITV studio.
The 47-year-old’s latest look comprised of a terracotta linen shirt and matching shorts.
The stylish shirt is from Zara, and for just €45.95, we’re sure it’s going to be a hit with fashion lovers this spring.
The gorgeous item had brown marble buttons down the front and two front patch pockets.
It is also belted at the waist, but in true Cat style she opted to add her own orange leather buckle belt.
The British presenter also altered the matching trousers to make them more wearable for spring.
Originally oversized linen trousers, Cat had the pants made into some super cool shorts — and we are loving it.
The stylish star finished off her fabulous outfit with a pair of cute peachy suede sandals and some statement gold hoop earrings.
The glamorous lady also had her golden locks down and perfectly styled in waves.
She also rocked a glowy make-up look with a shiny nude lip.
And that’s not the only fashion statement Cat has made on the show.
Renowned for showing up in style when it comes to putting together TV looks, Cat did it again with a beautiful M&S top.
The mum-of-two was a vision as she sported a beautiful one shoulder caramel coloured knit top from M&S and a pair of cream linen trousers from Boden.
The breezy knit had a single long sleeve with a slouchy style and a flattering horizontal neckline.
CLASSY CAT
This knitted top is the perfect style choice for day or nighttime outfits and would look beautiful with blue denim jeans.
The gorgeous knit is the star of M&S’ new spring/summer campaign and it’s so popular it’s selling out, fast.
The One Shoulder Slim Fit Textured Knitted Top is the perfect mix of sexy yet chic.
Priced at just €42, fashion lovers have sold out the top in multiple sizes already.
So ladies if you like what you see, run, don’t walk to your nearest M&S store.
