The undisputed super lightweight champion is 2-0 up on the Puerto Rican following wins at MSG in April 2022 and at the A&T Stadium last November.

And speaking to Sky Sports, Taylor said she is ready to make it 3-0 later this summer.

She said: “I absolutely feel so great at the moment.

“I obviously take it one fight at a time but after the last fight, I knew I was ready for another one. It is about adapting.

“You look at the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Bernard Hopkins, these kind of guys. Their longevity is incredible. It is actually inspiring.

“I live the life, I sacrifice so much. I don’t go around partying or anything like that.

“I am stuck in the gym, I live a clean life and I think I have a smart team of people around me as well.

“We train very, very hard but also very smart and it is the reason I am in this position.

“I am still at the top of my game.”

Taylor will be 39 by the time she fights Serrano again.

That fact is sure to play into questions fielded to her in the build-up to the fight.

She has been asked about retirement on several occasions over the past few years, only to dismiss them out of hand each time.

However, the 2012 Olympic gold medallist confessed that she doesn’t see herself fighting forever.

She added: “I obviously take it one fight at a time.

“I know I can’t do this forever and I don’t want to do this forever.

“I don’t want to be taking punches for the rest of my life but here I am, getting ready for another huge one.

“I do take it one fight at a time and I just feel really great right now and I knew straight after the last fight that I am ready to go again.

“I feel the fighter hasn’t died down. I have this desire in my heart to just bring women’s boxing up again and another huge fight on Netflix, another huge platform.

“I know I have what it takes to perform well. I know I have it all, really, and I feel like I am getting better and better with each performance and I can’t wait to keep going.”
