Unusual optical illusion reveals how confident you are – but it all depends on which picture you see first

[/boxout]

Conversely, if you spotted the man first you might be a kind-hearted soul.

Although this could lend itself to being sensitive, you likely forgive others easily.

This might present itself with someone seeming introverted and needing to think before jumping into something new.

You might find it a struggle to stand up for yourself and should look for situations to hold your own.

‘We’ve lapped it up’ says Beatles nut RTE icon in honest verdict after Irish duo nab Paul & Ringo roles in 4-movie deal

THE Beatles nut Dave Fanning declared I Feel Fine after Irish actors Paul Mescal and Barry Keoghan were cast to play members of the iconic band in four new blockbuster films.

Normal People and Gladiator II actor Mescal will portray Paul McCartney, while Saltburn star Keoghan will step into Ringo Starr’s shoes in the films, to be directed by Skyfall director Sam Mendes.

And Lifelong Fab Four fan Dave is confident the Irish duo Can Work It Out when tackling the high-profile roles.

He told The Irish Sun: “Paul McCartney is good looking, so is Paul Mescal, so it could be a good fit actually.

“Paul and Barry are acclaimed actors, so why not? But it’s the script of these movies that people will care about rather than the actors portraying the four Beatles.

“Over the years lot of people have played The Beatles and we’ve all lapped it up.”

While Dubliner Barry is already taking drum lessons to play like Ringo, Dave reckons there isn’t much to learn to master that role.

Dave told us: “You wouldn’t have know much in terms of how to get around a drum kit to sound like Ringo. It’s not Deep Purple. I saw the drum kit Ringo played in Shea Stadium at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cincinnati and you could fit it into the boot of a small car.

“But I’d suggest Barry listens to the Beatles song Rain, if he can master what Ringo does on the song, he will understand his style perfectly.”

And the RTE presenter also advised both Irish heartthrobs to watch as much Beatles material as they can.

He said: “Some people would say, ‘Don’t watch any other movies where actors portray The Beatles’, I would say watch them all. Even better, watch The Beatles in their own movies – John, Paul, George and Ringo play themselves in Hard’s Day Night and Help.”

The presenter said it’s unfortunate for the duo that the Irishman who was the first to interview The Beatles on TV is gone as legendary broadcaster Gay Byrne passed away in November 2019.

Dave said: “Gay interviewed The Beatles in 1963 for Granada TV when he worked over there.

“It was an important interview because it was the first time the personalities of the individual Beatles came out.

“Gay so loved The Beatles, his last public appearance was unveiling a plaque to where The Beatles played in Dublin on Abbey Street, in 2018.”

At the unveiling, Gay recalled how he could have gotten even closer to The Beatles as McCartney wanted him to be their manager before they found Brian Epstein.

Meanwhile, another Fab Four fan, Mick Lynch, also welcomed the Irish duo getting hired to play half the band.

Mick, who is the co-author of the book The Beatles and Ireland, told us: ” We always said that the Beatles were half Irish anyway and Liverpool is regarded as the second capital of Ireland.”

The music fan also thinks it’s good that relative newcommer Paul is playing Macca.

Mick said: “Benedict Cumberbatch or even Colin Farrell wouldn’t have worked so well, because they have done so many films. But Paul isn’t associated with so many other films.

“I haven’t seen much of his work but he came across on The Late Late Show as a likeable down-to-earth chap, like Paul McCartney.

“I agree with Dave Fanning, it will come down more to the script more so than the actors.”

Due out in April 2028, the acting supergroup will also feature Harris Dickinson, last seen opposite Nicole Kidman in Babygirl, as John Lennon.

And Joseph Quinn will move from Marvel’s Fantastic Four to the Fab Four, playing George Harrison in the film tetralogy,

The flicks will hit screens close to one another in April 2028, with each film focusing on a different member of the iconic group.

Director Sam said: “Each one is told from the particular perspective of just one of the guys.

“They intersect in different ways sometimes overlapping, sometimes not.

“They’re four very different human beings. Perhaps this is a chance to understand them a little more deeply. But together, all four films will tell the story of the greatest band in history.”

He added: “I just felt the story of the band was too huge to fit into a single movie, and that turning it into a TV mini-series just somehow didn’t feel right.”

Commenting Dave Fanning told us: “I can’t believe there aren’t more of these music-themed movies. Elton John’s Rocketman movie cost $41 million and made $180 million worldwide.”
