Lauren Goodger fuels rumours she’s back with ex as they have dinner with Towie co-stars

TOWIE legend Lauren Goodger has continued to fuel rumours she’s back with ex, after they had dinner together with her Towie co-stars

The former couple were seen enjoying some food with their daughter Larose, four, and pals Junaid Ahmed and Joe Blackman

Both Lauren Goodger and Charles shared the same picture of them enjoying some food with her friends.

Sat next to each other with their daughter next to Lauren, they looked like a couple again, sparking rumours their romance is back on.

They looked like they were on a double date with Junaid and Joe.

Charles also shared a sweet snap of his daughter and him, which Lauren commented on by saying: “What beautiful photos!”

BACK ON?

The couple set the rumour mill into overdrive that they had got back together when they took part in a TikTok together.

Again joined by Towie couple Junaid and Joe, they all joined in for a live chat.

It was her first time doing a live video on the platform in over a year, and it’s been even longer since she had seen publicly with Charles.

CO-PARENTING JOURNEY

Last year, Lauren opened up about the struggles she had previously faced co-parenting with Charles.

“It has not been easy, but we’re at a place at the minute where it is running smoothly. Charles sees Larose very regularly,” she told MailOnline.

“It’s a lot of travelling for me because he lives 3.5 hours away, and I meet him in the middle. It’s not ideal but it is what it is.”

Lauren said that they have worked through their previous issues and are working together as friends.

Their daughter Larose sees both parents equally, which the Towie star said she doesn’t want to change.

She said that Larose is her top priority and that she would never stop her daughter from seeing her dad.

TOUGH TIME

Lauren and Charles tragically lost their second child Lorena during a traumatic childbirth in 2022.

They’d fallen pregnant just three months after welcoming first child Larose in 2021, and Lauren was over the moon to become a mum for the second time.

Lorena, who Lauren described as the “most beautiful healthy baby she’d ever seen” died after her umbilical cord became wrapped around her neck.

The pair hadn’t had the most straight-forward of relationships and split up several times.

Charles was also accused of cheating on Lauren.

The split up not long after losing their second child.

Reading FC reveal that transfer embargo is imminent as club break silence on EFL disqualification threat

READING face another transfer embargo amid uncertainty around their potential EFL disqualification.

The club have shared an update on the ongoing crisis at the club, which saw owner Dai Yongge disqualified by the EFL due to his debts in China.

Yongge failed the owners and directors test and must sell up or Reading will be disqualified from the EFL.

The Royals are subject to a takeover and the sale is still ongoing.

An exclusivity period is in place that will see the prospective owner buy the club, the stadium and the training ground.

However an ongoing litigation case with Rob Couhig is holding up the sale process.

Couhig, who previously owned Wycombe Wanderers, had agreed a £30million deal to buy the Royals.

But the deal subsequently collapsed with Couhig claiming he lost more than £12m in potential profits after Reading broke their exclusivity agreement.

Reading released a statement providing an update which read: “Exclusivity remains in place with the proposed purchaser, with the sales proposal including the club, Select Car Leasing Stadium, and Bearwood Park Training Facility.

“All parties remain positive in the desire to complete a transaction at the earliest possible opportunity.

“Regarding the ongoing litigation case with Mr Couhig and last Friday’s Commercial Court hearing, the club can confirm that a formal proposal for alternative security has been made to Mr Couhig via his legal representatives.

“It is hoped that the proposal will be agreed quickly in resolution of the current security impasse, to facilitate the sales process.

“The club would also like to clarify the current position with the EFL, and Mr Dai’s disqualification as a Director.

“Under the terms of the disqualification, Mr Dai must now divest his interests in Reading Football Club and is committed to doing so to meet this requirement.”

Reading also confirmed their transfer embargo was lifted this after they published their 2022/23 accounts to Companies House.

However they face another transfer embargo if they fail to file their accounts for the 2023/24 season before the EFL’s March 31 deadline – the club state it is “highly unlikely” they will meet the requirement.

Willie Mullins’ Grand National jockey bookings revealed but horse he ‘really likes’ missing from squad

WILLIE MULLINS’ Grand National jockey bookings have seemingly been revealed by son Patrick.

But the horse the trainer ‘really likes’ for the £1million race was mysteriously missing from the squad Patrick named.

https://twitter.com/AtTheRaces/status/1904531191660679588

Mullins’ No1 rider Paul Townend is all but certain to ride defending champion I Am Maximus.

The JP McManus-owned superstar has looked pretty ropey this season, being pulled up in the Savills Chase at Christmas before getting well beaten in the Irish Gold Cup last month.

While obviously prep runs for Aintree, he was then pulled from his intended run in the Bobbyjo Chase on February 22 due to an infection.

Mullins is a master at getting horses race-fit, though, so expect the 8-1 chance to arrive in top shape.

Interestingly, Patrick nominated himself for the ride on the hugely promising Nick Rockett.

A winner of his past two starts, Mullins was visibly emotional when he claimed the Bobbyjo on his most recent run.

Revealing who he thinks will run where, Patrick told At The Races: “I imagine Paul will ride I Am Maximus – and they’ve got a good few others there.

“Danny (Mullins) has ridden Minella Cocooner and won the bet365 Gold Cup with him.

Willie Mullins' Grand National runners and odds

8-1 I Am Maximus
16-1 Nick Rockett
20-1 Grangeclare West
25-1 Meetingofthewaters, Minella Cocooner
66-1 Appreciate It, Capodanno, Macdermott
150-1 Spanish Harlem

“Brian Hayes got a good spin with Grangeclare West in the Irish Gold Cup – so I’m going to put my name in the hat for Nick Rockett.

“Whether it comes out or not is another thing.

“He won two of the big trials in the Thyestes and the Bobbyjo. He’s not big. I’d say he’d be the smallest horse in the field but he’s got the heart of a lion.

“He’d be a great ride in it.”

The one horse Patrick didn’t mention was the intriguing Meetingofthewaters.

Owned by McManus, he was the horse Mullins immediately picked out as one ‘he liked’ when the Grand National weights were revealed.

Meetingofthewaters finished seventh in last year’s National and was right in it with two fences to go.

He just faded but is a year older and stronger now and, carrying 10st 7lbs this time round, weighted a pound less than last year.

Gold Cup-winning jockey Mark Walsh, who was brilliant on Inothewayurthinkin in the Gold Cup, would be the obvious candidate.

He gets first pick of JP’s runners – with Jonjo O’Neill Jnr already down to ride second-fav and fellow McManus horse Iroko.

FM blasted over ‘cover up culture’ at Scots health board after report found patients at risk amid poor staff relations

JOHN Swinney was blasted for overseeing a “rotten culture of cover up” at Scotland’s largest health boards following a scathing report found a breakdown in staff relations were putting patients at risk.

The report into NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde was raised by Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar at First Minister’s Questions today, who said it showed patients were being put at risk by a “failing health board” backed by Nats ministers.

Issues were also raised in the Healthcare Improvement Scotland review over “ambulance stacking” at QEUH in Glasgow[/caption]

The MSP raised the infection scandal at the hospital which sparked a public inquiry and the fact it was investigated for alleged corporate homicide linked to the tragic death of 10-year-old Milly Main at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Mr Sarwar said SNP chiefs had failed to tackle a “rotten and at times fatal culture” at the health board.

He said: “I’ve been raising concerns for years with successive SNP Health Secretaries and First Ministers but here we are again.

“This is just the latest report after 29 doctors raised concerns almost two years ago and it exposes serious issues around the culture of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

“Patient safety compromised, staff ignored, bullied and silenced. and when they blow the whistle the management deny their claims, intimidate them and attempt a cover-up.

“After years of warnings and hollow claims of lessons learned why is this SNP Government allowing this rotten and at time fatal culture to continue?”

But Nats ministers’ response to problems at NHS GGC was defended by Mr Swinney who said the findings were “unacceptable”.

He said: “Let me use this platform to make it abundantly clear to every health board in the country that the culture that is referred to by Healthcare Improvement Scotland is completely and utterly unacceptable.

And hitting out at the “unacceptable normalisation” that so-called corridor care – where patients are kept on beds in hospital corridors rather than rooms – raised in the report Mr Swinney insisted: “I will not tolerate that. I will not normalise corridor care.”

But Mr Sarwar hit back and said: “Patients are still being put at risk by a failing health board that’s been empowered time and time again by this SNP Government.

“It appears this SNP Government is more interested in protecting managers and institutions rather than protecting patients and staff.”

The First Minister responded: “I don’t accept that characterisation of the approach of the Government because if that was the case there would not be an inquiry into the Scottish hospitals performance and there would not have been a Healthcare Improvement Scotland analysis of Greater Glasgow and Clyde.”

The review, published today, found a “serious breakdown” in relationships between workers and management at the health board, with cultures of “disrespectful behaviours, poor teamwork and incivility” at emergency departments in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH), Glasgow Royal Infirmary, and Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.

This led to staff wellbeing being negatively impacted and patient welfare put at risk, the Healthcare Improvement Scotland report said.

It also warned of an “unacceptable normalisation” of so-called corridor care and ambulance “stacking” – where paramedics wait outside hospitals with patients due to overcrowding – were also highlighted across the health board and at QEUH’s emergency department.

Staff at QEUH blasted “significantly poor professional behaviours”, including alleged bullying, and “a lack of respect that has the potential to lead to patient harm”.

The review also described the level of stress and distress among staff at all levels in the three EDs as “palpable”.

The lengthy report made more than 40 recommendations to NHSGGC and the Scottish Government, including addressing low morale among staff and seeking external mediation to rebuild relationships between workers and management at QEUH.

An NHSGGC spokesperson said: “We take the report, and most importantly the views of our patients and staff, very seriously and want to assure our patients and staff of our commitment to improve.”
