Six Russians would be killed on Thursday in the Egyptian holiday disaster – including two children.

Video caught by one of the tourists boarding the submarine shows the moment their jaunt turned into a nightmare.

Water quickly starts to rise around tourists’ feet as the craft begins to dive.

They begin to panic and within seconds the holidaymakers are left swimming for their lives.

The hatch of the craft can still be seen open in the clip, suggesting that seawater would have rushed into the vessel.

It’s not know how many people were already aboard the submarine.

Six people died while 39 were miraculously rescued after the Sindbad pleasure submarine sank off the Egyptian resort city of Hurghada.

Nine other people were injured in the disaster, including four said to have been critically hurt.

The crew of the sub are now being questioned by Egyptian officials.

Red Sea Governor Amr Hanafy confirmed yesterday the submarine had a valid licence and the crew had all obtained the correct certificates.

These days Richard is worlds away from his character[/caption]

It was based on adults and children caught up in spooky otherworldly situations.

The TV series was based on R. L. Stine‘s best-selling books, with many episodes directly adapted from his chapters.

Four series of Goosebumps were produced, with a total of 74 episodes making it to air.

Three decades on, one social media account has shared before and after snaps of the A-list cast.

Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling is also included, and looks fresh-faced in a still from the 90s hit.

Scott Speedman played officer Madison and still looks as handsome as he did, but without the black shades.

Canadian actress Karen Robinson still looks radiant today and has gone on to star in Law and Order, Schitt’s Greek and The Calling.

Caley Wilson, who starred as Terry Banks, appears to still rock his long hair today.

Angela Gei is still best known for her role in Goosebumps, and doesn’t appear to have acted in a big TV series since 2018 when she starred in an episode of Condor.

In 2023 Goosebumps returned to TV with a reboot, but it moved away from its former format.

The reboot focused on a serialised anthology style of storytelling instead as storylines were changed each series.

The horrifying 90s trends that will be massive this year

IT might be 2024, but it looks like we've skipped back another decade to the 1990s.

Cool Britannia was in reign, Oasis v Blur, Blair and The Beckhams all stole headlines but couples dressing and combats were king and this year they’re back.

But not everyone will be happy with the return of some looks we’d consider cringe rather than cool.

Here fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals the nineties trends that are back.

SKELTS

The micro mini crept back on the scene last year but is set to be one of the biggest trends this year.

The skelt (that’s skirt-belt) made famous by former glamour model Jodie Marsh and donned by nineties supermodels Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Kate Moss is now available at high street stores like H&M and Zara.

DOUBLE (AND TRIPLE) DENIM

From Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake‘s matching looks to Irish girl band B*Witched dressing head to toe in jean – double and sometimes triple denim is synonymous with nineties style.

Fast forward to now and everything from jeans to maxi skirts, yes maxi skirts, the waists will be low and worn with denim bags, tops and bras, like Bella Hadid

COMBATS

Rebranded as “cargo” trousers and skirts but don’t be fooled, they’re just combats.

Think All Saints, Billie Piper, and S Club 7 style practical, multi pocketed pants.

If you’re looking to get back into your combats there are an abundance available on the high street at PrimarkNew Look and Asos

BALLET PUMPS

Remember the days when you would slip on your ballet pumps and feel every lump and bump of the pavement?

Yes they’re back.

And they’re already lining the shelves at Primark.

While Saturday’s headliner US rapper Doechii is set to go head-to-head against as Charli XCX.

Charli will headline the Other Stage, joined by Loyle Carner and The Prodigy – with the hope of easing overcrowding issues.

Sunday night’s closer will see Welsh brothers Ed and Tom Russell, aka Overmono.

Fans took to Reddit to express their concerns about missing their favourite musicians – and the dangers of overcrowding.

One user wrote: “Overmono v The Prodigy is already a nightmare clash.”

A second noted: “Looks like Doechii is on at the same time as Charli XCX, which might help with some of the crowd control.”

A third vented at the organisers: “Maribou State clashing Loyle Carner and Overmono clashing Prodigy. Sort your s**t out, Emily.”

“Sorry but we definitely need these clashes. If not people gather at the same spots and it’s worse, as seen last year,” expressed a worried fan.

Another offered: “Doechii is clashing with Neil Young and Charli so I think she’ll be fine in terms of overcrowding. But Kneecap might be a bit manic.”

The official line up includes The 1975Olivia Rodrigo and Neil Young all set to storm the Pyramid Stage this summer.

Loyle Carner is headlining the Other Stage on the Friday, while Charli XCX is performing on the same day as Neil Young when she tops the second stage.

Dance legends The Prodigy will close the Other Stage on Sunday.

Raye and US rapper Doechii will also be performing at the farm, while Deftones and Amyl and the Sniffers will get the mosh pits going.

Brit winners Ezra Collective will bring their genre-bending groove to Pilton, while Noah Kahan, The Libertines, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Wolf Alice and Biffy Clyro are other standout names.

Sir Rod Stewart will perform his classic tracks in the legends slot on the same day Olivia takes to the stage.

Meanwhile up and comers like Lola Young – known for her hit Messy – will also be crooning hits at the coveted event.

Alanis Morrisette, Busta Rhymes, Gracie Abrams and Creedence Clearwater Revival’s John Fogerty are also on the bill.

Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall is performing at the event for the first time fresh from winning Best Pop Act at the Brits.

The Pantry’s first venue opened in the lively neighbourhood of Stockbridge in 2012.

Its brunch menu features all the classics, such as eggs benedict and full breakfasts, alongside more adventurous options like Pop Tart French toast and chorizo beans.

The new cafe is in the city’s Bruntsfield area, at 1 Merchiston Place.

It has taken over the space of the much-loved former brunch spot, Honeycomb & Co, which unexpectedly closed its doors earlier this year.

The Pantry has retained the former staff of Honeycomb as they transform the eatery into their own brand.

Staff took to social media to welcome the staff and customers to the new eatery, writing: “We’re thrilled to welcome the Honeycomb & Co team into the Pantry family and very much look forward to working with them to bring our signature brunch and coffee experience to Bruntsfield.

“To Honeycomb’s loyal customers – we can’t wait to meet you and continue the warm, vibrant atmosphere you know and love.”

Pantry owners Peter and Steph Borgen-Nielsen also run two Hula juice bars in the city’s Fountainbridge and Grassmarket.

We told previously how the closure of Honeycomb & Co left punters gutted.

Handfuls of fans rushed online to share their sorrow after the sad news.

One wrote: “Sad, but so grateful for all the wonderful times I’ve enjoyed here—all the smiles, meals, drinks, chats, and hugs over the years.

“Every visit has been special, and everyone I’ve ever brought to Honeycomb has loved it.”

Another added: “Will miss you forever.”
