THIS is the shocking moment an Uber driver appeared to punch a woman to the floor after kicking her out of his car.
The alleged attack took place on Angel Row in Nottingham city centre in the early hours of March 23.

Two sisters, aged 20 and 28, reportedly ordered an Uber home after a night out.
But the younger sister began feeling nauseous inside the vehicle and was told by her sibling to put the window down.
The driver was said to then become aggressive and allegedly said “if you’re going to get sick, get out of my car”.
And horrific footage shot by one of the victims showed the pair leaving the car and closing the doors “harshly”.
The driver also got out and seemingly punched the woman taking the video.
A group of men attempted to help the two women but one also ended up being punched to the floor.
The women’s mother, Bulwell Forest Labour Councillor Sarita-Marie Rehman-Wall, has spoken out about her upset and anger with the incident.
She said: “He [the taxi driver] started verbally abusing them while they were still in the car, which is when they started filming him.
“They got out of the car and closed the doors harshly. A group of men stood out for them and the driver knocked one of them to the floor. He also punched and kicked my daughters.
“I’m absolutely disgusted. There was no need for that. He got out of his car to attack two young women.”
Ms Rehman-Wall added: “I watched the videos once and I can’t watch them again.
“It was an out-of-body experience when I watched them. I just screamed. You see him getting closer and think ‘no, don’t punch her, don’t punch her’. I nearly fainted. I have not slept all night.”
The younger daughter, who, along with her older sister, wished to keep their identities private, called the police following the incident.
No officers were sent to the scene, however, “due to demand elsewhere” and the fact that the driver had left.
Ms Rehman-Wall said: “Police just left two young, vulnerable women who’d just been physically assaulted in the centre of town like that. What were they so busy with?”
The councillor added that officers were due to take statements from the two daughters on Tuesday, March 25, however, the women say they’ve been left shaken by the incident.
Ms Rehman-Wall said: “My younger daughter is so sensitive and she’s never been hit by anyone in her life.
“That’s the first time she’s ever experienced physical violence. How dare he? She now thinks all men are violent. I’m so angry about it.
“We tell our women and young girls to get home safe and be careful, and that’s what my daughters did – they took an Uber home – but they still got physically assaulted.”
The driver had a license issued in Wolverhampton, according to NottinghamshireLive.
The City of Wolverhampton Council said all operators have temporarily suspended the driver.
A spokesman for NottinghamshirePolice told The Sun: “We have launched an investigation following reports of an assault in Angel Row, Nottingham, at approximately 5am on Sunday (23 March).
“The incident reportedly involved a taxi driver and three members of the public.
“The caller advised the taxi driver had left the scene and that the incident was no longer ongoing.
“Due to demand elsewhere, officers were not immediately dispatched and the caller was advised officers would soon be in touch as part of a full investigation into the report.
“We have since been in contact with the taxi driver and our inquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to call 101 quoting incident 103 of 23 March 2025.”
Uber said it is also investigating the matter.
A spokesperson said: “Everybody should feel safe and welcome when riding with Uber as the safety of everyone using the app is always the number one priority.
“The experience the passenger describes is totally unacceptable and we are fully investigating the reported incident.
“As our community guidelines state, we have zero tolerance towards any behaviour such as this [and] we’ll be contacting all parties involved.”
The Sun has approached Uber for comment.

However, its current passenger capacity is just 26million a year – and the new plans hope to expand this to 40million.
The expansion plans have been designed by a number of architecture firms including Grimshaw, behind future plans for UK train stations Curzon Station and the expanded Waterloo Station.
They are also behind the up-coming YTL Arena in Bristol, Eden Project in Morecambe as well as previous projects of Euston Station and the Elizabeth Line.
Along with firms Haptic and K-Studio, the design show a much larger terminal building as the main expansion.

The project hopes to be completed by 2032, with capacity for 40million passengers a year.

The island is steeped in history and dates back to the mighty Greek empire.
A visit to the Old Town is a must for history lovers and sightseers alike.
It’s home to some stunning old buildings such as the Acropolis of Rhodes and the Palace of the Grand Master.

The massive statue shows the Greek sun god Helios towering above the ancient city.
A walking guided tour is the ideal way to take in all the fascinating sights and get a glimpse into the area’s long history.
The island is also perfect for explorers and offers plenty on unique day trips.
One popular option for visitors is to hop on a boat cruise to enjoy a tour of the island.

A major bonus on some cruises is that they offer unlimited drinks and food.
For those who like to party, there are booze cruises with an onboard bar and a live DJ.
Another unique must-see in Rhodes is Butterfly Valley, located in the north of the island.

HOLLYWOOD star Noah Centineo has turned heads with his scruffy low-key look and worryingly-weathered appearance.
The 28-year-old Hollywood actor Noah shocked fans with his shabby-chic look as he attended the Warfare premiere in Los Angeles.

GettyFans expressed their concern over Noah’s red, bloodshot eyes[/caption]

GettyThe former star of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before was clean-shaven[/caption]
The Recruit star got fans concerned as he appeared pale-skinned and tired with dark red circles under his striking eyes.
His former clean-shaven groomed look was replaced with a much more rugged, unkempt appearance.
The suited-and-booted-in-black actor was pictured on the red carpet looking intense and somber.
The heavy film is based on a platoon of Navy SEALs who ’embark on a dangerous mission in Ramadi, Iraq, with the chaos and brotherhood of war retold through their memories of the event’.
The movie also stars Adain Bradley, Joseph Quinn, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis and Michael Gandolfini.
Actor Noah has been linked to Big Little Lies starZoë Kravitz, 36.
The pair were spotted together in the early hours of the morning earlier this month after the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. The pair were thenphotographed walking through the streets of New York.
The swarthy star opened up earlier this year about his journey through sobriety and his battle with alcohol and drug abuse.
He told the Chicks in the Office podcast about finding fame at a young age: “I was so unhappy. I was able to pay my bills for the first time.
“I was completely financially stable and secure. I was working regularly, and I was doing a lot of drugs. Nothing crazy. I was doing drugs a lot. And drinking all the time, every day and I was young.
“I was 20 years old and I had been doing that for a couple years. So, I had a career that I was proud of. I was making enough money to pay my rent and put a little bit away. You would think I should be super stoked and super happy, and I just wasn’t.”
The star continued: “One day I woke up and the world looked different.
“It felt like it was the same world, but I was looking at it, and it felt like something had broken a little bit, and it scared me.
“I realised that I needed to dry out, sober up and take a look at myself and take inventory to see what that change was. And to get back to myself.
“You get to really confront things. If you’re drinking you don’t really have to worry about things. It’s a good way to numb yourself or self-medicate. And then you have to find healthier ways to deal with those things.”
Noah got his first big break when he took over the role of Jesus Adams Foster in The Fosters in 2013.
He has played Peter Kavinsky in all the To All the Boys films and he played the male lead in Sierra Burgess Is a Loser.
Noah also appeared as Camila Cabello’s love interest in her single Havana ft. Young Thug.
The actor previously dated Kylie Jenner’s best friend Stassie Karanikolaou and Alexis Ren, a Sports Illustrated model and ballet dancer, but they split at the start of 2020.
