THE luxury home of a crime boss seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau after it was declared the proceeds of crime was auctioned off for nearly €650,000.
Another property taken from the Kinahan cartel’s No 1 man in Ireland, Ross Browning, was also sold for a quarter of a million.

‘The White House’ near Tullyard near Drogheda, Co Louth was bought by Eduard Chiper and his wife Natalie as an unfinished site in 2014 for €200,000.
The pair then renovated it with €1.2m of illegitimate funds before CAB came knocking on their doors.
The couple conceded the case after investigators submitted in the High Court that Eduard was the boss of a transnational crime gang of Moldovans.
It was claimed that the mob trafficks “controlled drugs, specifically cocaine and cannabis as well as firearms throughout Europe and Russia.”
Bidding on the luxurious home began at €475,000 and finished up at €649,000 on Thursday.
Their property in the northeast had a luxurious detached villa with a tennis court and detached garage along with grand electric gates, an outdoor bar and firepit and a fountain.
Its grounds also featured “state of the art dog kennels”, according to its sellers.
On the inside, BRG Gibson Auctions stated: “There is a grand marble staircase, adorned with a bespoke crafted balustrade.
“The ground floor features marble tile which runs seamlessly throughout and includes a spacious front room with an ornate white mantle, a lounge leading to a dining room and the kitchen featuring custom cabinetry and an impressive centre island.
“Through the kitchen is a downstairs bedroom which has been used as a home gym and studio. There is also a utility room and a luxurious down stairs guest WC.

“Upstairs, the first floor comprises four spacious bedrooms, the master features an impressive ensuite, a spacious walk-in closet and balcony. Along with the family bathroom which is decorated with an ode to the baroque style there is also a jack and jill shower room.”
Elsewhere, Kinahan gangster Browning’s former mid-terrace property on the Deanstown Road in Finglas, Dublin was sold for €250,000.
The house was part of CAB’s successful €1.4m case against the thug in 2023.
Another property owned by him in Garristown, Co Dublin was sold off last year.
The proceeds from the sales of Chiper’s and Browning’s properties will be handed back to the exchequer.
