MEGAN McKenna was defended by her followers after sparking a debate over weaning her baby.
The first-time mum has been keeping her fans up to date with every step of life with baby boy Landon, who is now four-and-a-half months old.
In a new video in her home, Megan was seen propping him up in a chair before feeding him in his first step towards weaning.
The adorable tot was seen mystified by the new taste, looking wide-eyed as she fed him, and soon appeared eager to try more.
Proud mum Megan wrote: “I think we can safely say Landon will be a foodie just like his mummy ”
But a debate soon sparked in the comments, with some criticising her choice for weaning him off milk so early.
When one follower asked if Megan had looked into baby-led weaning, Megan responded: “Yes but I’m waiting until he’s six months to do this as he’s only 4 1/2! I’m weaning him early due to his reflux.”
Her comment sparked a slew of critiques by people who didn’t think it was suitable, with no studies to back it up.
One even begged her not to, writing: “Please don’t wean him early there is zero studies it helps with reflux and can cause sooo many more issues in the long term.”
“Did you think about BLW [babyled weaning]?” wrote another. “No mushy liquidised stuff. Wait until they’re ready and can feed themselves. Thoroughly recommend it. Studies now show babies gut isn’t ready for food that early x”
“It’s called science and evolves every day look up the evidence based practice that advises that it should be six months it’s because new research shows that our bellies don’t protect themselves until six months Meaning more stomach issues when older” said a third.
“As her herself has issues with her digestive system you’d think she would wait until he’s 24 weeks before starting. Especially when he can’t sit up in a chair himself. Germany might have different regulations but the UK is defo six months.”
However other parents were quick to back her up, saying that it helped their baby.
“Bless him and this will help his little reflux so much. People that judge on this topic please stop this is done on medical advice to help a baby that is struggling well done little man x” one replied.
“I started weaning mine at 4 months old these comments aren’t it, what do you think they did back in the day with no restrictions or regulations ” said a second,
“this!!! Honestly sick of hearing people doing it by the book instead of going with their own instinct and doing it when they know babas are ready xx” noted a third.
However, others continued to double down, saying: “Weaning before six months is not recommended. Introducing solid foods too early can increase the risk of allergies and obesity later in life.”
They later added they feel she should wait because essential nutrients are in breast milk and formula, babies’ digestive systems aren’t mature enough to handle food, and it could increase risk of disease.
“Honestly the ‘but mine are fine’ bias is maddening in these comments,” they added.
This isn’t the first time Megan has come under fire, despite her adjusting to life as a new mum.
Megan has been honest with every up and down as a new parent, including getting painful mastitis – a condition where milk ducts get blocked in the breasts – and wanting to tone up her tummy after giving birth.
She’s also been juggling a bigger workload while her footballer fiancé Oliver Burke is away working.
Now complete with a mum bob hairdo, Megan has said that she is refusing to respond to negativity over her baby boy, after trolls came after her for trying to sleep train Landon to sleep by himself.
PREGNANCY, ageing and genetics – just some of the reasons our boobs lose that perky appearance over time.
Although this is totally natural, having saggy boobs can have a major negative impact on your confidence for many – but luckily, money-smart shoppers have found the perfect solution.
Facebook user Christina Rachel Howorth took to the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group to share the epic bargain that claims to transform your breasts – without forking out a fortune.
”Here’s a perfect bargain – £1.99 to treat those coconuts after a long day,” the money-smart shopper chuckled in her post, showing off the special Shake Ya Coconuts Boob Mask.
Infused with rich coconut oil to nourish and hydrate your skin, the purse-friendly skincare buy promises ”to enhance your boobs back to their bouncy self”.
Not only will the formula help your breasts to appear more perky, but the mask also claims to keep the skin more ”hydrated”.
The bargain find, which sells at B&M, is also available for your bum – just look out for Shake Ya Booty Bum Mask.
Although there are currently no reviews of the plastic-free mask, it seems to become a major hit amongst bargain-mad Facebook users.
The post, uploaded less than a day ago, has already racked up 88 comments and over 130 likes, with social media users tagging their pals.
”Off to B&M,” joked one woman who was keen to get her hands on the biodegradable product.
”Take more than a mask to make mine bouncy again,” another chuckled.
”I wonder if these would help my pregnant sore boobies,” someone else chimed in.
A fellow thrifty shopper claimed to have spotted a similar buy elsewhere for even less.
”There’s some in home bargains /poundland and they make your skin so nice and £1 a pack.”
The no-bra-club movement has fully entered the mainstream since Covid-19 lockdowns and working from home saw thousands of women swap stilettos for sweatpants.
But while many believe that skipping the bra will make your boobs go saggy, others insist it’s the secret for perky breasts – so, which one is it?
Determined to get to the bosom of the issue, The U.S. Sun spoke to an expert about whether your bra will really stop your boobs from sagging.
Her answer? Probably not.
Lalitha McSorley, the owner and lead physical therapist at Brentwood Physiotherapy Calgary, spoke exclusively to The U.S. Sun.
Lalitha works with a lot of post-op breast augmentation patients.
Giving her two cents on the hot topic of debate about whether or not wearing a bra affects the girls, Lalitha said the scientific evidence on the subject is limited.
Gravity: Over time, the constant pull of gravity can cause the ligaments in the boobs to stretch and sag, especially in larger ones
Smoking: Smoking reduces blood supply to the skin, leading to a loss of elasticity and premature sagging
Lack of Support: Not wearing a properly fitting bra, especially during exercise, can lead to stretching of breast tissue and ligaments
Weight gain and loss: Changes in body weight can spark changes to the fatty tissue in the breasts, making them more prone to sagging
According to Lalitha: “There are conflicting studies and opinions on whether wearing a bra or going bra-free significantly impacts breast perkiness.
“Proponents of wearing bras argue that they provide support to the breasts and help maintain their shape, which may contribute to a perkier appearance.
“On the other hand, some proponents of going bra-free argue that wearing a bra can weaken the muscles that support the breasts, leading to decreased muscle tone and potentially contributing to breast sagging.”
Essentially, it’s believed that allowing the breasts to be unsupported can strengthen the breast muscles and promote a natural perkiness.
However, “there is limited scientific evidence to support these claims,” said the physical therapist.
Lalitha stated that it’s important to note that right now the only factors we know that can impact breast perkiness include age, genetics, hormonal changes, pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight changes, and overall breast tissue elasticity.
“Breast perkiness is influenced by various factors, and the decision to wear a bra or not should be based on individual comfort, personal preference, and body anatomy,” she said.

Shoppers from all over the city rushed to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices in Ireland’s first ‘shopping frenzy’.
During the excitement, a window was forced in and the police had to be called to help control the crowds hoping to bag founder Ben Dunne’s ‘Better Value’ bargains.
Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began to sell groceries in 1960 – starting with apples and oranges.
The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunne yet again offered Better Value than anyone else in town.
“Over time, our food selection has grown and that spirit of good value has remained strong.
“Now we offer a wide range of carefully-sourced foods from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”
The retailer’s first Dublin store opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street and a super store on South Great Georges Street was unveiled in 1960.
They added: “In 1971, our first Northern Irish store opened, and many others soon followed.
“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain, and later into Scotland and England.”

EVERY parent knows that getting a young child to eat anything is a victory in itself.
From one day to the next, it can be difficult to determine what your tot will be in the mood for.
And that’s why one mum was left fuming after learning about the lunch time rule at her daughter’s nursery, reports the Daily Mail.
Caroline shared her annoyed response in a clip posted on her TikTok page (@pezzi.shop).
The woman explained that her three-year-old daughter came home from school and told her that her teacher said she had to eat all of her “good” foods before she ate her “bad” foods.
She shared a glimpse inside her child’s lunchbox, which included a tinfoil wrapped sandwich, cucumber slices, strawberries, an orange, and a biscuit.
Caroline revealed that her daughter was told she couldn’t have her biscuit before eating her sandwich and cucumber slices.
She described how she felt “a little frustrated by the antiquated instruction from the teacher”.
“I responded saying: ‘Well, that’s silly, there are no good foods or bad foods. Food is just food’,” the mum said.
The TikToker shared the note that she taped to the front of her daughter’s lunchbox the following day.
It read: “Hi! Evelyn has our permission to eat lunch in any order she chooses. None of her foods are ‘good’ or ‘bad’ – they are just food! Thanks! Caroline and Joey.”
Caroline explained that this had not been the approach when she was younger but credited other mums and experts in the field of childhood and nutrition for changing the mentality.
The mum said she now has a more positive view on food, with “better responses, knowledge, and practices for my kids”.
She added that she was “proud” of her daughter for “sensing something was off” with her teacher’s rule.
Caroline explained that she and her husband “talk all the time at home” about the importance of a balanced diet.
They regularly remind their daughter if she only eats carrots or broccoli then her body won’t have protein it needs to grow strong muscles.
The couple encourage her to eat all her food groups so she has enough her to “run and play all day long”.
Here are some widely recognised methods:
Authoritative Parenting
This technique will often foster independence, self-discipline, and high self-esteem in children.
It is often considered the most effective, this technique is where parents set clear expectations – enforcing rules – whilst also showing warmth and support.
Authoritarian Parenting
This is opposite to authoritative parenting, as it is where the parent sets high demands but is low on responsiveness.
It involves ensuring the child is obedient and often employ punitive measures. While this can lead to disciplined behaviour, it may also result in lower self-esteem and social skills in children.
Permissive Parenting
Permissive parents tend to be indulgent and lenient, often taking on a role more akin to a friend than an authority figure. They are highly responsive but lack demandingness, granting children a lot of freedom. This method can nurture creativity and a free-spirited nature but may also result in poor self-regulation and difficulties with authority.
Uninvolved Parenting
Uninvolved or neglectful parenting is marked by low responsiveness and low demands. Parents in this category offer minimal guidance, nurturing, or attention. This often leaves children feeling neglected, which can have significant negative effects on their emotional and social development.
Helicopter Parenting
Helicopter parents are extremely involved and overprotective, frequently micromanaging their children’s lives. Although their goal is to protect and support, this approach can hinder a child’s ability to develop independence and problem-solving skills.
Free-Range Parenting
Free-range parenting encourages children to explore and learn from their surroundings with minimal parental interference. This method promotes independence and resilience but requires a safe and supportive environment to be successful.
Attachment Parenting
According to Marriage.com, Attachment parenting focuses on physical closeness and emotional bonding, often through practices such as co-sleeping and baby-wearing. This approach aims to create secure attachments and emotional well-being, but demands significant time and emotional commitment from parents.
Each of these parenting techniques has its own set of strengths and weaknesses. The key is to find a balanced approach that aligns with the family’s values and meets the child’s needs for a healthy, happy upbringing.
However, not everyone agreed with how the mum handled the situation.
TikTok users shared their thoughts on Caroline’s approach in the comments section.
“That’s great until they’re in the third grade [nine-years-old] and still as small as a kinder. I beg my son to eat his sandwich first he needs to grow,” wrote one parent.
“I’m sure the teacher wasn’t trying to be cruel. Maybe you could have talked to the teacher instead of a passive aggressive note on your three year old’s lunch?” suggested another person.
“Why send your kid to a school you don’t agree with? Also, I guarantee other teachers will tell her the same. Are you going to write notes to them too?” asked a third viewer.
On the other hand, some TikTok users shared their support for Caroline’s response.
“As a teacher, if their belly is full, that’s all that matters. And trust me, we’re so busy they’re gonna eat it all!” said one follower.
“As a daycare teacher, I will always try to encourage kids to eat at least some of their ‘foods that give them energy to play’ but I can’t imagine telling a kid that foods are good or bad,” wrote another person.
TV presenter Miquita Oliver has stunned fans by revealing her first kiss was with Alexanda Kotey — the ISIS terrorist known as Jihadi George, a member of the notorious Beatles terror cell.
Miquita, 40, made the revelation on her Miss Me podcast, recalling her time at Fox Primary School in Kensington and Chelsea, where she and Kotey were classmates.
Reflecting on their childhood, she told co-host Lily Allen: “Do you remember who my first kiss is? It’s Alexy — mixed race Alexy from Fox. And do you remember what happened to Alexy? He became Jihadi George!”
Kotey, 41, was a leading figure in the brutal ISIS group that kidnapped and murdered 27 people, including British aid worker David Haines.
The terror cell became infamous for targeting Westerners and carrying out horrific executions.
Before his radicalisation, Kotey grew up in Shepherd’s Bush, West London, with a Ghanaian father and a Greek Cypriot mother.
He was believed to have dealt drugs before converting to Islam in his early 20s and eventually leaving for Syria in 2012.
In Syria, Kotey became known for inflicting extreme torture on hostages, including electric shocks.
He also acted as a recruiter, persuading other British citizens to join ISIS.
Kotey was captured in 2018 while attempting to flee to Turkey.
He was later extradited to the US, where he pleaded guilty to eight charges, including lethal hostage-taking.
Judge T.S. Ellis branded Kotey’s actions as “violent and inhumane”.
In a letter that Kotey had penned before being sentenced, he claimed he took “full responsibility” for his actions.
In 2022, he was sentenced to life in prison — with 15 years to be served in the US before a potential transfer to the UK.
On the podcast, Miquita quickly moved on from the revelation, saying: “It’s not my story to tell, so let’s move on!”
At the peak of its power from 2014-2017, the so-called Islamic State ruled over millions of people and claimed responsibility for or inspired attacks in dozens of cities around the world.
Its leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, declared a caliphate over a quarter of Iraq and Syria in 2014, before he was killed in a raid by US special forces in Syria in 2019 as the group’s rule collapsed.
David Haines from Perth in Scotland was captured by militants in Syria in March 2013 while delivering aid to the war-torn country.
The father of two was beheaded in 2014 after being held by the terrorist cell dubbed “The Beatles” because of their English accents.
Footage of his murder was posted online. His remains have never been discovered.
British national El Shafee Elsheikh was also sentenced to life in a US jail for his involvement in the plot to kill hostages.
A third man, Mohammed Emwazi, dubbed Jihadi John, who was believed to have featured in shocking videos of IS beheadings of a number of captives, was killed in a drone strike in 2015.
David’s daughter Bethany marked 10 years since his tragic death in October.
Friends and family gathered in Perth for the service, which Bethany said was organised to celebrate the life of her father and to remember all other hostages.
Speaking at the service, Bethany said: “It’s hard to believe it is 10 years since my world was shattered and I had to accept that I was never going to see my dad again.
“It has been a long and hard 10 years with many ups and downs. The pain has never gone away and probably never will but I learned to cope with it and channel my energies into positive things.”
She continued: “He would not want to be remembered as the man in the orange jumpsuit, he would want to be remembered as the man who loved his family, who was generous, who wanted to help in any way he could and who loved life.”
She described her father as “strong, kind and caring” and said he would have loved becoming a grandfather and spending time with her son.
