Actress Jessica, 38, has been enjoying a lot of success after playing stalker Martha in Baby Reindeer.

Last night was no different, and the talented actress scooped the gong for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series.

Accepting her award, Jessica said “Wow, thank you so much. Wow. I feel like such a lucky bunny to even be in this room, let alone be nominated or up here, honestly.”

She continued: “When I first started acting, I had an office job alongside acting for about eight years.

“It’s a very geeky thing to admit but in the mornings I used to go into work and look at a PowerPoint presentation, it was like a positive thinking vision board of all the things that I wanted to do and the people I wanted to meet or work with.”

Jessica was up against fellow nominees, Kathy Bates (The Great Lillian Hall), Cate Blanchett (Disclaimer), Jodie Foster (True Detective: Night Country), Lily Gladstone (Under The Bridge), and Cristin Milioti (The Penguin) for the award.

The star went on to thank those who had worked with her on Baby Reindeer, including creator and co-star Richard Gadd.

“Thank you to everybody involved in Baby Reindeer for changing my life, thank you to Richard Gadd for making my dreams come true, I will never ever forget Baby Reindeer or playing the part of Martha,” she said.

“Thank you to my team and my family back home, I love you and cannot wait to celebrate with you.”

Concluding her speech, she said: “Honestly, genuinely, this means the world to me so thank you so much.”

Earlier in the evening, Jessica had wowed on the red carpet in her floor length black gown.

She was joined by fellow Brits Millie Bobby Brown and Cynthia Eviro.

Both actresses looked equally stunning in their dresses, as they flew the flag for Britain.

It was also a good night for Irish actor Colin Farrell who won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor.

“I have to thank my sister who I’ve worked with for 22 years,” he said in his acceptance speech.

And Armagh did so by easing past the challenge of MAYO with a comprehensive 2-14 to 1-10 victory.

Parkinson said: “Everyone is playing for their jersey and when our in-house games are competitive, that is showing the depth in the squad.”

Niamh Henderson got a goal before the break to guide her team to a 1-11 to 0-4 lead.

She added a second after Mayo’s Saoirse Lally netted on the restart.

The champions pushed on from there to maintain their impressive defence of their title.

TG4 All-Ireland senior champions KERRY made it three wins on the spin when they beat TYRONE by 4-5 to 1-7 in Garvaghey.

Kerry led by 2-4 to 0-4 with Danielle O’Leary getting both goals before Anna Galvin and Rachel Dwyer found the net.

But Kingdom chief Mark Bourke admitted: “The goals were important but the wind was deceiving.”

Elsewhere, MEATH’S winning start to the league was ended by KILDARE by 2-7 to 1-5.

Royals chief Shane McCormack said: “I am disappointed with our display but I am taking nothing from Kildare.”

Meanwhile, WATERFORD and DUBLIN finished all square in Parnell Park.

A goal from sub Caoimhe O’Connor brought Dublin back into contention at 0-7 to 1-2 at the break. Waterford held the lead for most of the third quarter before Niamh Hetherton got Dublin’s second goal to get within a point of the visitors.

Kellyann Hogan edged Waterford in front with a free in the closing stages.

But Kate Sullivan rescued a draw for Dublin with a free on a score of 2-7 to 0-13.

In the big promotion clash in Division 2, CORK made their trip to MONAGHAN a winning one as Katie Quirke shot seven points in a 1-9 to 1-3 win. GALWAY also kept up their promotion drive when a goal from Roisín Leonard helped them ease to a 1-14 to 0-3 win over WESTMEATH.

Two goals from Kirsty Crotty helped TIPPERARY to a 2-6 to 0-7 win over Munster rivals CLARE.

Jodie McFadden converted a late penalty to rescue a 0-10 to 1-7 draw for DONEGAL against ROSCOMMON.

In Division 3, there were wins for LAOIS, DOWN and WEXFORD.
ANTRIM, SLIGO and WICKLOW were victorious in their Division 4 ties.

Meghan Markle copies Princess Diana’s iconic look as she gives tour of garden in California mansion

MEGHAN Markle has recreated Princess Diana’s iconic look in a new video.

The Duchess of Sussex has appeared in a purple Northwestern sweatshirt identical to one worn by Prince Harry’s late mum nearly 30 years ago.

Meg filmed herself walking around her garden in Montecito in a video posted on her Instagram.

The mum-of-two, 43, smiles in a pair of sunglasses, with the clip also featuring the duke and their kids Archie and Lilibet.

It’s captioned: “A small break from work to soak in the weekend sunshine.”

One of the children is heard saying “mummy, I can do it if you want me to” before they are seen watering the plants with a hose.

Meg then makes a sparkling cocktail using an orange picked from their grounds as Harry can be heard laughing.

The purple top is one that Diana was often seen wearing in public in 1996.

She was gifted the jumper when she visited Northwestern’s Evanston campus in 1995 to raise funds for the university’s Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center.

Meg’s new Netflix cookery show With Love Meghan is set to launch early next month, coinciding with her lifestyle brand As Ever.

Both ventures have seen the duchess go on a social media blitz, posting nine times on her personal Instagram since the start of 2025 – following years of silence.

It comes after it was revealed Meg is banned from selling clothing as part of her brand.

A cut-price Chinese clothing company and a family-run New York-based retailer are among the fashion outlets with the same name.

The Mail on Sunday has revealed documents filed at the US Patent and Trademark Office in October 2022 by Meg’s legal team applied for permission to sell aprons, as well as other clothing items.

But USPTO issued a 145-page “partial rejection” of her trademark application the following July saying she couldn’t sell clothes due to her company’s name being similar to Chinese “fast fashion” outlet ASEVER.

It supplies high street stores in the UK, including H&M.

USPTO – which cited “clothing category Class 25” – said: “The marks are identical in sound and virtually identical in appearance and are thus confusingly similar for the purposes of determining likelihood of confusion.”

It added: “Registration of the applied-for mark is refused because of a likelihood of confusion.”

In January last year, Meg’s lawyers submitted a revised application and As Ever was approved for trademark.

A trademark lawyer told the Mail: “If she sells clothing under the As Ever brand she risks being sued.”

FORCED RE-BRAND

The duchess was forced this month to re-brand American Riviera Orchard – originally announced a year ago – due to trademark issues.

And the mayor of Porreres in Majorca said she is considering legal action over Meg’s new logo apparently copying the town’s centuries’ old coat of arms.

Meanwhile, former Palace aide Jason Knauf has finally broken his silence over a bullying scandal involving the former actress.

Jason Knauf – who previously worked for Prince William and Princess Kate for seven years – says he “wouldn’t change anything”.

Speaking to 60 Minutes Australia on Sunday, he reflected on the intense scrutiny he faced after an internal email he wrote about Meghan was leaked to the media.

He had sent the message in 2018 raising concerns about the Duchess of Sussex’s alleged treatment of staff.

It was made public three years later ahead of Meg and Prince Harry’s controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey during which it was claimed racist remarks were made about the then-unborn Prince Archie.

Meghan strongly denied the claims, labelling them as part of a smear campaign.

Referring to the attention he received at the time, Mr Knauf said: “I think it, it’s tough, but it’s probably quite good.

“You know someone who has been helping other people through how to deal with the public eye. You probably had to take your own medicine sometimes.”

He continued: “You can’t choose just to take the fun stuff in any job. And that applies to the Prince and Princess as well as everyone else working for them. So I wouldn’t change anything.”

Mr Knauf doubled down on whether he had any regrets, saying “no” and adding in such a role you have to “take everything that comes with it”.

And despite the scandal, he went on to speak warmly of Meghan and Harry, saying he had “lots of great times” with the pair while working closely with them, including on their wedding.
