Herbalist sentenced to 14 years imprisonment for attempted s3xual assault on 10-year-old epileptic girl in Lagos

HOLLYOAKS fans have become convinced another regular face has been axed from the show after “disappearing” in the time jump.
The Channel 4 soap jumped forward in time back in September last year, taking with it almost two dozen cast members in the process.
But five months later, fans think there are more that went missing in action in Hollyoaks – particularly one close to fan favourites, Nancy and Darren.
Nancy and Darren welcomed baby Morgan in June 2022 in suitably chaotic fashion, with Nancy going into labour prematurely while Darren was out of the country on a stag do.
The tot was later diagnosed with a heart condition that required life-saving surgery, requiring them to head to the US in order to get her the care she needs.
While she returned shortly afterwards, Morgan hasn’t been seen on screen since August 2024 – and now fans are wondering why.
With the one-year time jump put in the series, Morgan would now roughly be four years old.
Taking to Reddit, one fan wrote: “Just a random thought: but I wonder when they are going to recast Darren and Nancy’s youngest. She should be pre-k age now and talking…”
But other fans were quick to note that it’s not the first time toddlers suddenly disappear from the screen in Chester.
“My partner and I call it ‘the vortex’. Kids just disappear in Hollyoaks.. then return randomly,” one wrote, noting that child ages tended to vary and not fit within the timeline. “I mean, I get it, but it’s become a pet peeve where the kids just disappear and don’t even get obligatory mentions at all. Lol.
“Writers should keep them referenced a bit more so they can bring them back a bit more smoothly/build tension/ develop characters”
“This! The kids get bigged up as babies, briefly mentioned for a bit and then come the end of primary school/start of secondary school they’re in it all the time,” said a second. “It happened with Ant, Didi and Ro .”
Show bosses had to make some tough decisions in order to cut back on costs - resulting in stars being axed or choosing to walk. So who left Hollyoaks in its massive cast cull?
“It’s the same with Leela’s son, I can’t even remember his name but when was the last time he was shown?!,” added another.
“He’s a very good lad. Stays in his room ALL the time. Lol,” another fan joked.
While Morgan isn’t anywhere to be seen, Darren and Nancy have been more than tied up over the last few months with a hard-to-stomach storyline about sibling abuse.
Frankie Osborne, Darren’s daughter, was revealed to have been abused at the hands of her twin brother, JJ.
The story came to a head in January, with JJ being sent to a Young Offenders’ Institution for two years for what he did to his sister.
And now its set to get even worse, with Frankie being groomed into a violent gang.
