The Spanish holiday resort that has the cheapest all-inclusive holidays this summer for families on a budget

THE cheapest resort town for an all-inclusive holiday for families has been revealed and it’s good news for Brits who love Spain.

Salou sits on the Spanish coast of Costa Daurada and is home not just to pretty sandy beaches but three huge theme parks.

For anyone looking for the cheapest all-inclusive hotel in Europe, TravelSupermarket has done the hard work for us.

Out of their top 10 list, TravelSupermarket has declared Hotel Best San Diego as the cheapest all-inclusive.

Hotel San Diego offers prices from £672 per person for a seven-night stay with flights departing from Manchester in July 2025.

For the all-inclusive option, the hotel offers buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinks are served throughout the day as are snacks.

It’s a hotel worth the trip if you love the beach, as it’s within walking distance of not one, not two, but three beaches: Levante Beach, Capellans Beach, and Larga Beach.

As for activities, there’s a games room, gym and entertainment programs with sports activities, aqua-gym, water polo and ping-pong.

The second cheapest all-inclusive is Festival Village in Salou, with all-inclusive prices beginning at £604pp for 7 nights in August.

As well as all-inclusive food and drink, there’s outdoor pool to enjoy, a kids’ pool and a playground.

Travel expert Steph Marinkovic at TravelSupermarket loves Salou as a budget-friendly travel destination.

She says it’s a great place to “enjoy volleyball on Llevant Beach” or “cool off at PortAventura World”.

PortAventura World is a huge theme park with 40 rides as well as a water park next door, Caribe Aquatic Park, that has flumes, waterfalls and relaxing pools.

Across from the park is Ferrari Land, which has car-themed rides and simulators; it’s a great spot for fans of F1.

Ferrari Land is also home to Europe’s tallest and fastest roller coaster, Red Force. Be warned, it’s a scary one as it reaches speeds of 112 mph and its maximum height is 367 ft.

Don’t feel like you have to stay in Salou, though. You’ll find Barcelona is just 90 minutes away for a perfect day trip to see the stunning Sagrada Familia and Güell Park.

The next location that offers the cheapest all-inclusive is Calas de Majorca.

The resort town on the island of Majorca is a great place for a holiday if you love beautiful beaches like Cala Domingos. It’s also a great destination for exploration.

Up the road is Cala Millor, which is perfect for watersports including sailing, snorkelling, scuba diving, windsurfing, kayaking and surfing.

For driving fans, there are buggy tours all over the island, and the heritage Drach Caves, where you’ll discover four natural underground lakes, are 20 minutes away.

Caló des Moro ('small bay'), also Cala de Sa Comuna, is a bay in the southeast of the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca. It is located on the coast of the municipality of SantanyÃ, southwest of the village of Cala Llombards, towards Cap de Ses Salines, the South Cape Mallorcas.
Mallorca is a great place the anyone who loves swimming, paddle boarding and exploring caves

The third resort town, Alanya, is great for anyone wanting to venture further than Spain.

Steph Marinkovic said the Turkish resort offers “incredible value” and what Brits always want to hear—it has “12 hours of daily sunshine in August”.

The Kleopatra Beach stretches for over a mile meaning it’s likely to never be too crowded to find a sun-lounging space.

For fans of sightseeing, there’s a chance to see the medieval castle, or take boat trips from the marina.

We had a great time at PortAventura World and took on the challenge of going on all the rollercoasters in one day.

Here’s more on Red Force, the fastest rollercoaster in Ferrari Land.

Love Island winner Jack Fincham FREED on bail as he appeals jail sentence for dog Elvis’ attack on runner

LOVE Island winner Jack Fincham has been FREED from jail after his out-of-control dog Elvis mauled a runner and attacked a woman.

The reality star, 32, was dragged to court after the hulking Cane Corso attacked Robert Sudell.

Fincham was today jailed for six weeks after he admitted being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog.

It is understood he has now been freed on bail while he appeals the sentence.

His on-off girlfriend Chloe Brockett wept earlier as he was taken down to the cells, while Fincham gave a thumbs up.

Elvis first attacked runner Robert in Swanley, Kent, in September 2022.

He then mauled an unnamed woman in Grays, Essex, in June 2024 but no harm was done.

Presiding magistrate Anne Wade, said that Fincham was subject to a suspended sentence order at the time.

This was after Fincham was caught speeding down the hard shoulder in a BMW while on cocaine.

Ms Wade said this order would be activated in part, adding that “we find no reason not to do so” as she jailed the star.

Fincham was also ordered to pay £3,680 – including £200 compensation fee to Robert and a £50 compensation fee to the other victim.

A payment plan of £400-a-month will be set up upon his release from prison, Southend Magistrates’ Court heard.

JPs heard that Fincham failed to comply with three rules over the dog’s ownership following the first attack.

These included to always keep the dog on the lead, for the dog to wear a muzzle when outside and to not leave the animal alone with anyone under the age of 16.

The guidelines were set in September 2022 when Elvis bit runner Robert and Fincham took part in a dog ownership course.

But there was another incident in June 2024 when the animal lashed out at a woman – sinking its teeth into her leg.

The court was told Fincham would get Elvis back upon his jail release if the three stipulations are met.

Fincham has previously come under fire over his pet dog.

Fans have slammed the star over Elvis’ cropped ears, which is illegal in the UK.

He revealed last year that he had got the pooch from Russia and that it was imported by Protection Dogs WorldWide.

The former pen salesman also owns Sandy, a bulldog he bought while he was dating and living with his ex Dani Dyer

Fincham appeared on the 2018 series of Love Island where he and Dani – daughter of actor Danny Dyer – scooped the top prize.

The couple split just 129 days after leaving the villa following a series of rows.

Dani broke the news to their followers in December 2018, saying: “She wrote: “Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways. It’s been an incredible six months and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but we’ve sadly come to the realisation that it’s not meant to be long term.

“We both plan to stay friends. I hope you’ll all understand. Love Dani x.”

Fincham has found himself on the wrong side of the law numerous times since 2021 when he was arrested for drink-driving.

He recently told The Sun how his 2023 conviction for speeding while high on cocaine was a wake up call and led him to sign up for Narcotics Anonymous.

The star added: “This has made me realise that I have to take responsibility for my actions.

“I was carrying on with the same lifestyle after the arrest, but now it’s hit home.

“I had no respect for myself and was selfish about others. I didn’t care what happened to me in the frame of my mind I was in.

“I wasn’t thinking about what harm I could do to myself or how I could hurt others.”

Tipping Point’s ITV future revealed after production shut down for an entire year as Ben Shephard landed new game show

TIPPING Point’s future on ITV has been revealed after no new episodes were recorded for an entire year.

The fan-favourite quiz show is presented by Ben Shephard and has been on air since its launch in 2012.

The hit game show first launched in 2012 and a whopping 1,500 episodes have been produced to date[/caption]

However, fans have regularly been left fuming over repeats being slotted into the ITV schedule over and over again.

The Sun can reveal production was stopped on Tipping Point last year, sparking fears for its future.

The last batch of new episodes were filmed in 2023, with some yet to even be broadcast.

But despite new hits such as Deal or No Deal’s reboot and Mel Giedroyc’s Pictionary being introduced to the schedule over the last year, ITV has no plans to axe Tipping Point.

A source said: “Tipping Point has a cult viewership and is seen as a flagship show for ITV.

“Last year Ben had a big change in his diary, having taken over as full time host of This Morning alongside Cat Deeley and landing his own adventure series.

“Blocks of new episodes of Tipping Point are typically recorded during the summer, but last year that was Ben’s time off with his family.

“ITV are also sitting on new episodes that were recorded in 2023 and are yet to be slotted into the schedule.

“But there’s no plans to rest the show, they’ve planned to film new episodes later this year.”

Over 1,500 episodes have been aired to date, as well as 103 specials.

In November The Sun exclusively revealed how Ben, 50, was taking time off This Morning to film high-octane show The Summit.

Already a hit in Australia, it will see Brits pushed to their limits when they scale one of the world’s highest mountains – each with a share of the £200,000 jackpot stuffed into their backpacks.

Filming for The Summit took place over two weeks in New Zealand.
